Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities is pleased to announce the availability of a transportable adult/universal changing area. The adult/universal changing station will make its debut at the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival on Thursday, Aug. 15.

This changing area will be available to anyone attending the festival, making it possible for more people to enjoy the festival for a longer period of time without the worry of no place to accommodate the need to be changed in privacy. This area will be located centrally in the heart of the festival in the red tent in the parking lot of Dollar General on the corner of South Sandusky and East Renesslaer streets. Equipment and supplies available in the changing station will include an electronic adjustable changing table, sanitary wipes, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes, and a container for disposal of incontinent garments and other related trash. This changing area will include lighting as needed.

The purchase of this transportable adult/universal changing table was made possible through an Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Home and Community Based Servies (HCBS) ARPA Grant. This funding is provided to increase community accessibility for people with developmental disabilities.

This adult/universal changing area will be available for other venues throughout Crawford County. To reserve, please contact the Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities at 419-562-3321.
