BUCYRUS– Bucyrus Secondary School will host a College Credit Plus informational meeting Thursday, Jan. 19 . The meeting will be held in the school’s Media Center and starts at 6:30 p.m.

Students who will be enrolled in grades 7-12 for the 2017 -‘18 school year at the school, and their parents, are invited. The meeting will give a general overview of this cooperative educational program. It will be presented by representatives from Bucyrus Secondary School, The Ohio State University at Marion, Marion Technical College and North Central State College.

The program gives students the opportunity to earn college credit before graduation, without ever leaving Bucyrus Secondary School. This early college partnership program offers qualified Secondary School students the opportunity to enroll in college level courses for high school and college credit.

Tuition, fees and the cost of books will be provided at no cost to parents if their child qualifies for the program.
