Boys basketball: Crestline falls in final regular game

Crestline Bulldogs

The Crestline boys basketball team lost to Mansfield Christian 58-41 in league play on Saturday.

The Flames surpassed the Bulldogs 27-16 at halftime.

Crestline shot 15 of 40 and made 11 of 14 free throws, while Mansfield Christian shot 19 of 51 and made 15 of 24 free throws.

The Bulldogs lost to the Flames in the second half 31-25.

Crestline had 31 rebounds and 21 turnovers, while Mansifeld Christian had 33 rebounds and 13 turnovers.

Davon Triplett led the Bulldogs with a game high of 15 points.

Brandon Mount led the Flames with 12 points.

Buckeye Central Bucks

The Buckeye Central boys basketball team defeated Mohawk 62-27 in league play on Friday.

The Bucks surpassed the Warriors 37-11 at halftime.

Buckeye Central shot 25 of 51 and made 9 of 15 free throws, while Mohawk shot 11 of 45 and made 2 of 4 free throws.

The Bucks defeated the Warriors in the second half 25-16.

Buckeye Central had 42 rebounds and eight turnovers, while Mohawk had 22 rebounds and 12 turnovers.

Jacob Shade led the Bucks with a with a game high of 20 points, while Grant Loy added 19 points.
