Swimming: Eagles win N10 invite

The Colonel Crawford swimming team won the Northern 10 Athletic Conference Invitational on Saturday.

The Lady Ealges scored 395 points, followed by Upper Sandusky (314), Bucyrus (109), Wynford (60) and Ridgedale (32).

Colonel Crawford’s girls took first place in nine of the 11 girls events. Taking first individually were Kennedy Speck (200 IM), Chloe Grove (200, 500 free) and Calie Ruffener (50 free, 100 free).

Colonel Crawford’s boys also won 9 of 11 events to become N10 champions scoring 371 points, followed by Upper Sandusky (344), Wynford (26) and Bucyrus (21). Grabbing first were Grant Pfeifer (100, 200 free), Nic Motter (200 IM, 500 free), Jacob Roesch (100 backstroke) and Jake Johnson (50 free).

For the Redmen, Blaise Bloomfield notched the top spot in fourth place in the 100 free, while Claire Miller took sixth place in both the 100 backstroke and breaststroke.

Josh Rose took the top spot for Wynford in sixth place for the 200 free, while Alexis Richardson was sixth in the 500 free.
