Prep Football Roundup: Colonel Crawford rebounds with win over Seneca East

Colonel Crawford 42, Seneca East 18

Will Kirkpatrick accounted for 259 total yards and three touchdowns to lead Colonel Crawford to a 42-18 win over Seneca East in Northern 10 Athletic Conference action on Friday. Kirkpatrick rushed for 175 yards and two scores, and completed 6-of-15 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Eagles wide receiver Owen Adams caught all six of Kirkpatrick’s passes for 84 yards. The touchdown covered 41 yards.

Colonel Crawford running back Blake Treisch rushed for 94 yards and three scores.

Quarterback Brennan Martin led the Tigers offense, completing 17-of-22 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown. However, he threw four interceptions.

The Eagles (3-1, 2-1 N10) travel to Bucyrus next Friday.

Seneca East (3-1, 2-1 N10) plays host to Upper Sandusky in Week 5.

Centerburg 44, Northmor 18

Quarterback Gunnar Gregory passed for 239 yards and three touchdowns and running back Jacob Rings rushed for 150 yards and three scores to lead Centerburg past Northmor, 44-18, on Friday.

Demetrius Johnson rushed for 113 yards and scored on a 55-yard run for the Knights. Jake Farley passed for 128 yards and scored on a 1-yard run. Gunnar Lilly also scored on a 1-yard run for Northmor.

The Knights (1-3, 0-1 MOAC) led 12-7 after one quarter of play, but the Trojans outscored Northmor 23-0 in the second quarter to put the game away.

Northmor plays host to East Knox in Week 5.

Centerburg (2-2, 1-0 MOAC) will entertain Cardington-Lincoln next week.

Loudonville 64, Crestline 10

Loudonville piled up 295 yards and seven touchdowns rushing to roll past Crestline, 64-10, on Friday at Hutson Stadium. The Redbirds finished with 362 total yards.

Bulldogs quarterback J.R. Wolfe completed 9-of-33 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. Davon Triplett caught the scoring pass from Wolfe. Chandler Gaskill made four catches for 55 yards and Ty Clark caught three passes for 49 yards.

J.C. Clarke led Crestline in rushing with 47 yards on 12 carries. Wolfe finished with 45 yards rushing on 10 carries.

Crestline (0-4) plays host to Western Reserve Academy next Friday.

Loudonville (3-1) travels to Mogadore in Week 5.

Wynford 41, Carey 12

Wynford celebrated Senior Night 2015 with a 41-12 rout of Carey on Friday.

Royals quarterback Zach Hoffman passed for 118 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 84 yards and two scores. Robbie Miller returned an interception 47 yards for a touchdown.

Wynford (3-1, 3-0 N10) travels to Mohawk next week.

Carey (1-3, 0-3 N10) plays at Sandusky St. Mary Cen. Catholic next Saturday.

Buckeye Central 31, Upper Sandusky 14

Bucks running back Cody Roberts rushed for 70 and two touchdowns as Buckeye Central cruised past Upper Sandusky, 31-14, on Friday. BC quarterback Grant Loy passed for 189 yards and a score and rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Upper Sandusky’s Kolin Holloway threw a touchdown pass to Nick Bay and finished with 51 yards passing. Holloway also rushed for 51 yards to lead the Rams. Shane Pack ran for a touchdown.

Buckeye Central rolled up 325 yards of total offense, while holding the Rams to just 190 yards.

The Bucks (3-1, 1-1 N10) play host to Ridgedale next week.

Upper Sandusky (2-2, 2-1 N10) plays at Seneca East.

Mohawk 44, Bucyrus 7

Mohawk built a 30-0 lead in the first quarter and rolled to a 44-7 win over Bucyrus on Friday.

Warriors quarterback Justin Morter rushed for 86 yards and passed for 73 yards. Trevor Zender rushed for 70 yards.

Bucyrus backup quarterback Damon Parsell accounted for the Redmen’s only score on an 80-yard run in the fourth quarter. Parsell finished with 89 yards rushing and 14 yards passing.

Mohawk (3-1, 2-1 N10) plays host to Wynford in Week 5.

Bucyrus (1-3, 0-2 N10) plays host to Colonel Crawford next Friday.
