League meeting Sept. 22 at Victory Lanes

A meeting for bowlers interested in the Tuesday Morning Mixed League will be held at Victory Lanes at 11 a.m. on Sept. 22. Each team will consist of three members with any combination of bowlers. For information, contact Victory Lanes at 419-468-4868.

Duffers Scramble Sept. 27 at Valley View

Valley View Golf Course will host the 3-person Duffers Scramble Sunday, Sept. 27. This is the oldest tournament of its kind in Ohio. First place team wins $1,000. Teams must have at least 30 handicap to enter. For information, call Valley View Golf Course at 419-468-1226.

Northmor Fall Wrestling Camp set for Oct. 24

The Northmor Fall Wrestling Camp is scheduled for Oct. 24. The fee is $45 per camper. The camp will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the old high school building. Cycling Sports Center group rides

Cycling Sports Center of Galion invites area bicycle enthusiasts to its weekly group rides. The group rides are held every Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. The rides start at the store, located at 130 Harding Way East. For information, stop by the store, or call 419-462-2453. Malone 5K and Pump & Run set for Oct. 3

The Malone University 5K and Pump & Run is scheduled for Oct. 3 at the Canton campus. Registration forms are available at www.runtoyouracing.com or by contacting Joyce Byler at 330-471-8486 or email [email protected]

Participants may compete in the 5K run only, or combine a bench press (the pump) and a 5K (the run). Runners will earn a deduction from their race time relative to the number of repetitions they are able to pump. Overall and age group prizes will be awarded as well as t-shirt giveaways and more.
