Pleasant defeated Galion, 174-200, in Mid Ohio Athletic Conference boys golf action on Thursday at the Galion Country Club.

Tigers freshman Jack McElligott turned in the low round for Galion, shooting 46. Brevin Owens and Mitchell Dyer each shot 50. Nick Kruger finished the afternoon at 54.

Colten Skaggs fired a 55 and Kaleb Harsh ended his round at 66.

Pleasant also won the junior varsity match, 212-266. Sam Rigdon led Galion with a score of 58. Aaron Stewart shot 68. Aaron Barnhart amd ..Jacob Lear each carded 70. Nathan Bishop shot 85.

Next up for Galion is a tri-match with River Valley and Jonathan Alder scheduled for Aug. 26 at the Galion Country Club. Buckeye Valley pays Galion a visit on Aug. 27. Tee time for both matches is 4 p.m.
