Kenyon ladies’ tennis earns ITA Academic awards

For the seventh consecutive year, the Kenyon College Ladies tennis team earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team award. Additionally, the Ladies had three individuals honored with ITA Scholar-Athlete awards.

Claiming those individual honors were senior Abigail Younger along with juniors Elise Altschuler and Claire Cohen. Younger and Cohen are three-time recipients of the award, while Altschuler earned the honor in each of the past two seasons. The awards are presented to those Individuals who earned a varsity letter, maintained at least a 3.50 grade point average and have been enrolled at their current academic institution for at least two semesters.

The ITA’s All-Academic Team award is given to member teams that possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher. The Ladies have now earned that team honor 11 times in the past 14 seasons.
