Northmor volleyball team improves to 10-2

BUCYRUS — The Northmor Knights volleyball team is 10-2 after defeating Bucyrus Monday; 25-21, 24-26, 25-14, 25-15.

The defense showed up in a big way for the Knights in the match. Lindsey Wiseman recorded 28 digs while teammates Anna Donner and Jordyn Zoll added 23 and 13, respectively.

On offense, Donner led the way, going 36/37 hitting with 10 kills. Kelsie Fike was 23/28 with nine kills, Rayanna Loyer added 19/20 with five kills and Hope Miracle provided four kills in the Northmor victory. Zoll was the primary ball handler, going a perfect 88/88 while gaining 25 assists. Caitlin Thebeault also tacked on eight assists.

Zoll was 27/28 serving for the match with five aces. Fike was 17/18 with three aces, Donner had three aces and Thebeault two.
