Knights win in five over Eagles in volleyball

GALION — The Colonel Crawford Eagles gave the Northmor volleyball team a battle on Monday at Northmor, taking the Knights to fives set. Northmor rallied after dropping the first two sets to win 22-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21 and 15-8.

Anna Donner and Jordyn Zoll were key components to the victory. Donner had success serving at 25/25 with five aces and on the attack, going 57/57 hitting and recording 12 kills. She also added 14 digs. Zoll was 20/21 serving, 90/93 ball handling with 27 assists and added 14 digs. Kelsie Fike 33/36 hitting and put down 11 kills.

Lindsey Wiseman and Cristianna Boggs also had big nights. Boggs had 13 digsand Wiseman 25.

The Knights are 8-1 overall.
