MARION — The Galion Tigers boys golf team was in Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference action on Wednesday against the Marion Harding Presidents. An impressive showing by the varsity team drew them to .500 (3-3) in the conference.
Galion won 179-190. Leading the way for the Tigers for the second match in a row was Brevin Owens, shooting a 43. Both Jack McElligott and Matt Kingseed were just two strokes with 45s. Kaleb Harsh and Mitch Dyer each shot 46. Colten Skaggs added a 50.
The junior varsity won 221-249. Scoring for the jayvee squad was Alec Dicus and Aaron Barnhart with 53s, Sam Rigdon with 54 and Jude Kern adding 61.
