MARION — The soccer teams for the Galion Tigers continued their tour on Monday, traveling to Marion to meet the Pleasant Spartans on the pitch. The host team would end the day with victories from both the boys and the girls teams.

The girls team continued to show improvement on the field. When all was said and done, the scoreboard read 9-0 in favor of Pleasant.

The boys team took to the field hoping to have a different outcome. Unfortunately, despite the quality play by central defender Landon Rose and Stephen Thompson (19 saves) at goalkeeper, the Tigers fell to the Spartans, 10-0. Ethan Zeger gave Galion their only shot on goal for the evening as Pleasant kept pushing throughout the duration of the matchup.
