Graders to host meet and greet

The Graders’ season opener is Friday, June 3, in Heise Park against the Lorain County Ironmen. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. The Graders are part of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, which includes 11 other teams from throughout Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

The community is invited to Meet the Graders on June 1. From 5-6 p.m., the public is invited to come down to the James D. Heddleson Field in Heise Park. Practice for the Galion Graders will be open to the public.

“Fans can meet the players and coaching staff for the 2016 season. This is also a great opportunity get a glimpse of this year’s talent, which we’re really excited about,” Graders General Manager Mike O’Leary said.
