Chargers compete in Area 5 spring games

The Fairway-Waycraft Chargers competed in the Area 5 Spring Games held Saturday, May 7th at Lexington High School in Lexington, Ohio. The Chargers had 12 athletes represent Crawford County. They competed to the best of their abilities and had many fine performances.

The athletes that competed and their results are as follows: Tim Bishop- Softball Throw- 2nd Place; John Edmondson- 50 M Walk- 1st Place; Jeremia Gale- Bocce Doubles- 2nd Place; Kim Meyer- Shot Put- 1st Place; Christain Olmstead- Bocce Doubles- 2nd Place; Jim Plasencia- Bocce Doubles- 2nd Place; Renee Plasencia- 30 M Motorized Wheelchair Slalon- 2nd Place and 50 M Motorized Wheelchair Slalom- 2nd Place; Tim Plasencia- Bocce Doubles- 2nd Place; Jackie Stuckman- Softball Throw- 3rd Place and 100 M Dash- 4th Place; Ashley Tyree- Softball Throw- 4th Place and 100 M Dash- 2nd Place; Brandi Tyree- Softball Throw- 2nd Place and 100 M Walk- 5th Place; Tammy Tyree- Softball Throw- 2nd Place and 100 M Dash- 2nd Place.

“We are very proud of their efforts and fine results. Congratulations go out to all the Chargers for being such outstanding representatives of Crawford County,” said James Trainer, commissioner of the Clearwater Athletic League.
