Pioneer Career and Technology Center (PCTC)

On Monday, March 15, Pioneer Career and Technology Center (PCTC) Superintendent Glenna Cannon conducted a tour of the completed first phase of Pioneer's OSFC-supported remodeling project. Much of the construction work -- including counter top installation and beautiful terrazzo tile floors -- was completed by local contractors.

"We learned a lot in this part of the construction project. Doing this smaller part first taught us many lessons we can apply to the rest of the construction project," Cannon told those who attended the tour, adding that "it was a lot of fun!"

Randy Fischer, Owners' Representative for the OSFC project for PCTC, informed the PCTC board at their meeting held after the tour that the next phase of construction will hopefully be able to be undertaken by May 1, with large amounts of work being completed over the summer, while the students are on vacation.
