BUCYRUS —Commercial businesses may take part in the eighth Bucyrus United Methodist Church Back to School Supply Carnival and Info Fair.

Bucyrus United Methodist Church will sponsor the fair July 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. on the campus of its Outreach Center at 216 Hopley Ave.. Free basic school supplies are offered to elementary age students of financially struggling area families.

One major facet of the annual event is an Information Fair that includes representatives from dozens of area non-profit organizations and agencies. They will provide families free information about their services, along with custom games and prizes. Because of space limitations, commercial and professional businesses have previously been unable to participate.

While space is still a premium, carnival organizers are now offering commercial and professional businesses the opportunity to be involved by providing brochures, business information, discount cards, or free coupons. The items will be packaged in goody bags and distributed to families at registration.

Sacred Heart School’s 123rd annual festival is Sunday, July 24. The festival is held on the parish grounds; 5742 Ohio (between Crestline and Shelby). The family-oriented fun starts at 10:30 am and continues until 10 pm.

Stop in for a barbecued chicken or ham dinner. There is an air-conditioned dining hall available. There will be farmers marlet book, plenty of games, antique farm machinery on display and a big reffle wit great prizes. There alsi is a 5k run/walk that starts at 6 p.m. Mail registrations to 5358 Beam Road, Crestline, OH 44827. Registration forms can be found at www.sacredheartbethlehem.org.

FOOD PANTRY — St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St., 9 to 11 a.m. July 16. The food pantry is the third Saturday of each month. Galion residents only, and bring a photo ID and proof of residency (phone,utility bill, etc.)

COMMUNITY OUTREACH DINNER — St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St., 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., July 27. The outreach dinners are always the last Wednesday of the month. Donations are accepted to help pay for the event. Carry out is available. No home delivery is planned.

FREE COMMUN{ITY MEAL — Trinity Lutheran Church, 291 N. Union St., Galion, 5-6 p.m., July 28th. Everyone is welcome.

GOD’S LITTLE ACRE MARKET — God’s Little Acre Market will take place every Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parking lot of First Presbytarian Church, 240 S. Market St., in Galion. For more information contact Sharon Landes at 419-845-3540.
