More than 100 local kids participated in the Galion baseball team’s skills clinic on March 8. They were divided into two sessions based on age and went through various stations to work on everything needed to get to the major league like J.B. Shuck. There was also a throwing contest with prizes. Phil Jackson, head coach of High School baseball, said this year’s attendance nearly doubled from last year, due in part to the help they received from Galion Youth Baseball.
