MANSFIELD—The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) rolls into Mansfield on June 14 and the local GOBA committee could use a few more volunteers to help with this large event. Help is needed setting up the campground, staffing the first aid station and information booth, putting up signs, assisting with bike parade, and more. Contact Kim Miers at the Mansfield/Richland County Convention & Visitors Bureau at 419-525-1300, ext. 26 or email@example.com.
The week-long biking and camping event takes the 2,500 participants on a tour from Mansfield to Orrville, Coshocton, Mt. Vernon, Bucyrus and back to Mansfield on June 21. Mansfield and Richland County will be in the spotlight as the “start” and “end” town, providing opportunities to showcase the area’s dining, shopping, attractions, and activities.
