MANSFIELD—You are invited to visit Kingwood Center decked out in all of its glory during the Christmas season. This year’s theme is SYMBOLS OF CHRISTMAS, with every room in Kingwood Hall highlighting a different symbol. The Gingerbread Contest entries will once again be on display in the Assembly Room. New this year, we have added more lights and decorations through areas of the grounds. Be sure to enjoy all of the new lights as you enter Kingwood Center through the Trimble Road gate. After parking in the Trimble Road parking lot, enjoy a leisure stroll viewing holiday lights along the pedestrian path, which runs along side the drive up to Kingwood Hall. The brick path that leads to the Greenhouse is also decorated for your holiday enjoyment. At the end of the path, in the Courtyard, we have added a fire pit to warm up next to as you enjoy walking our grounds to see the new light displays. After warming up by the fire, stop in the Greenhouse to have hot chocolate and cookies. Kingwood Hall and the Greenhouse will be open to the public November 30th through December 29th, Thursday through Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. except for Friday, December 6th (closed for a private event), with live music every evening. Admission into Kingwood Hall is $5 per person, children 12 & under are FREE.
