GRAB SOME CASH! The Galion Community Foundation's Tenth Annual Auction and Concert will be held on May 9, 2014, at the Galion Moose Family Center on South Market Street. Admission for the evening is free with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Galion Alumni Band (5:30 p.m.) and the New Washington Towne Band (6:15 p.m.). Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the Moose. Live and Silent auctions will highlight the activities. One exciting new item up for bid is the opportunity to “Grab Some Cash.”. Seen demonstrating how to “grab” some bucks is Marjorie Lyons who recently volunteered to demonstrate the process. This year's lucky bidder will have 30 seconds to “grab” up to $1000 that will be floating in the air around him or her.
