Real estate tax bills have been mailed

Crawford County 1st Half (Tax Year 2013) Real Estate Tax bills were mailed on January 3. If you have not received your bill, please call the Treasurer’s office at 419-562-7861 or 800-589-5744. The final date for payment of these bills is February 6, 2014 and after that date, a 10% penalty will be added.


You may use your credit card to pay these taxes over your phone (1-855-825-0556) or through the internet at www.crawford-co.org. You may also use an electronic check on the internet. There is a fee for this service.


If mailing your tax payment, it is recommended that you mail your bill at least one day prior to the due date. The U.S. Postmark must be Feb 6 or earlier to avoid a penalty.


Real Estate Taxes may be paid at any branch of United Bank or First Federal Community Bank in Crawford County anytime through the final due date on February 6. When paying at the bank offices, you must have your current tax bill(s).


Please call the Treasurer’s office with any questions. The Treasurer’s and Auditor’s offices are on the 1st floor of the Courthouse in Bucyrus and are open daily (Monday through Friday) 8:30 to 4:30. Parking is available near the Courthouse along the railroad tracks.
