Moving Hearts and Soles 5K June 21

The 5th annual Moving Hearts and Soles 5K run and walk will be Saturday, June 21, at the Galion Orthopedic Center. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the run/walk begins at 9 a.m. There will also be a kids’ fun run and other activities, sponsored by the Galion YMCA. The first 100 to register will receive a special gift. Awards will be presented to fastest male and female by age group, and fastest overall. A sports expo will feature giveaways, door prizes and fitness booths.

Cash Mob June 21

The June Cash Mob is set for June 21st, and our business is excited for us to come visit. They are even getting in more merchandise in anticipation! Meet at the gazebo in Uptown Galion at 12:00 Noon. We’re sure that you will find something that you just can’t live without!

Chris Cakes Pancake Breakfast June 21

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors Bureau will be sponsoring a Chris Cakes Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 21 from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Ag and Expo Building (the new building) at the fairgrounds. This breakfast will be $5.00 for all you can eat pancakes, sausage, orange drink and coffee. This is open to the GOBA Riders as well as the community. Chris Cakes is from Columbus and is a fun, family treat as he flips pancakes for you to try and catch on your plate! Please come out and join us! This will benefit the Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors Bureau.

Vintage Baseball June 22

HomeCare Matters Home Health and Hospice and the Galion Historical Society will host the Ohio Village Men’s Muffins and Lady Diamonds Vintage Baseball Teams, Sunday, June 22, from noon to 4 p.m. at HomeCare Matters Galion office, 1220 N. Market Street.

Using rules, uniforms and equipment which date back to the year 1860, The Ohio Village Muffins and Lady Diamonds recreate the historical beginning of America’s favorite pastime. They will play against teams made up of local residents. The Galion Historical Society/Ohio Village Vintage Baseball day is free and open to the public. Parking is provided.
