Jo Swain took her oath of office on Feb. 25, as a returning member on the Crawford County Board of Elections. Swain opted to be sworn in by Municipal Court Judge Sean Leuthold at the Galion City Building, instead of a mass swear-in that was held in Columbus last week.
Swain, a graduate of Galion High School, is the longest-serving member on the Board at 17 years. She was first appointed in 1998 by then Secretary of State Robert Taft, and was most recently reappointed by Secretary of State Jon Husted. (Inquirer photo/Matt Echelberry)
