The Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce held its third ribbon cutting of the year on March 10. Chamber members welcomed the opening of Caleb’s Brookside Dari, located at 355 North East Street.

The ice cream shop used to be called Darlene’s Dari Bar. Store owner Caleb Bowman explained he is a relative of Darlene Stiving; his parents bought the business from her last year and he operated it. He recently bought the store from his parents and decided to rename it. Currently the business is in the process of a remodel and Bowman said he would like to start delivering to customers. He employs 11 people.
