12:44 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the East Park area was investigated.

3:14 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Charles Street was investigated.

8:29 a.m.-A report of a semi-trailer truck striking a pole, snapping it into, then leaving the scene was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way West.

1:38 p.m.-A sex offense was investigated in the Mardo Lane area.

5:41 p.m.-A report of a man going door to door in the Sunnyside Drive area asking to look at people’s gas bills was investigated.

6:30 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person going door to door in the Cedargate Court area was investigated.

10:22 p.m.-A report of a theft at Subway was investigated.

10:45 p.m.-A report of vandalism in the 100 block of East Church Street was investigated.

11:25 p.m.-A resident in the Galion Arms area reported receiving harassing phone calls.

8:16 a.m.-An employee at Discount Drug Mart reported being short-changed by a customer Wednesday evening.

3:19 p.m.-An employee at Dollar General reported being short-changed by a customer Wednesday evening.
