March 2

10:04am A Faustina Avenue resident reported a theft of medication and money in the 800 block of Cleland Avenue.

10:18am A false alarm was received from the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street.

11:01am Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Aumiller Park. The vehicle was gone upon officer’s arrival.

11:03am A report of possible child abuse was received and remains under investigation.

12:02pm A Teddy Avenue resident reported the theft and use of a credit card. Officers are investigating.

2:45pm A junk vehicle complaint was investigated in the 400 block of West Rensselaer Street. A violation notice was left with the vehicle.

2:57pm A domestic disturbance between siblings was investigated in the 500 block of Garnet Court.

4:26pm A resident in the 500 block of Whetstone Street reported money stolen from him.

5:11pm An employee with Asplundh Tree Service reported a chipper stolen from the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street.

6:05pm A report of a strong odor of natural gas in the 100 block of West Rensselaer Street was forwarded to the Bucyrus Fire Department.

6:38pm A subject came to the police department to return property he had bought after finding out it was stolen.

6:45pm Officers spoke to a resident in the 600 block of East Warren Street about an unruly juvenile.

8:18pm A report of a vehicle speeding through the area of Rensselaer and Lane Streets was investigated.

8:52pm A two vehicle injury accident in the 1500 block of Tiffin Street was investigated. Jayme Fawley, 32, was consequently arrested on charges of OVI and failure to control. She was issued a traffic citation and released to a sober family member.

9:28pm A false alarm in the 1200 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

9:31pm A report of a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue with a shattered window was investigated. The damage was done accidentally by the owner.

10:40pm A resident in the 900 block of West Southern Avenue reported noise outside her back window. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.

10:51pm A report of loud music in the 1100 block of Tiffin Street was unfounded.

March 3

12:45am A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of West Charles Street.

4:38am A traffic warning was given in the area of Whetstone Street.

4:51am A traffic warning was given in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

5:40am A traffic warning was given in the area of South Spring and West Charles Streets.

5:55am Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.
