Feb. 25

7:13am Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 100 block of Penn Avenue.

8:44am Officers spoke with a subject on station regarding an internet theft.

10:27am Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1200 block of South Walnut Street.

11:11am A report of a truck hitting the traffic light at Marion Road and Beal Avenue was received.

11:28am Officers assisted Children’s Services in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

12:04pm A report of a suspicious bag in the 100 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. The bag was found to be empty.

12:17pm An accident report was taken in the area of River Street and Plants Way.

12:31pm The traffic light at Marion Road and Beal Avenue was hit a second time by a semi- truck.

12:40pm A report of a shoplifting in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

1:17pm Officers responded to a three car, roll-over accident in the 900 block of South Walnut Street. No injuries were reported.

1:17pm One income tax summons was served in the 900 block of South Walnut Street.

3:37pm Officers stopped to assist a trooper on a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Walnut Street.

4:09pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Lane and Warren Street.

4:50pm A parking citation was issued in the 500 block of East Rensselaer Street.

5:47pm Officers responded along with Bucyrus Fire Department for a fire alarm at the Bucyrus School Administration building on Plymouth Street. It was a false alarm.

6:52pm Officers checked on a report of a neglected animal in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

7:19pm A 9-1-1 hang up call was investigated at Woodbine Apartments. The caller was located and everything was fine.

7:37pm A Bucyrus juvenile came to the police department to report being harassed by an adult in a vehicle by the Bucyrus Public Library.

7:44pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Walmart.

8:53pm Officers attempted to serve a warrant in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

9:09pm A report of an open building in the 400 block of Plymouth Street was investigated. It was re-secured.

10:54pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Walmart.

Feb. 26

12:13am A verbal traffic warning was given in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

12:24am A verbal traffic warning was given in the600 block of East Mary Street.

12:30am Officers responded to an alarm in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue.

2:13am A report of a group of suspicious people at Walmart was investigated.

2:18am Officers assisted a State Trooper in the area of South Walnut Street and E. Center Street.

3:07am Officers assisted employees of the Horseshoe Bar with patrons refusing to leave.

5:16am A verbal traffic warning was given on Marion Road.

6:02am Officers assisted a State Trooper in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

6:39am A verbal traffic warning was given in the 300 block of West Mansfield Street.
