Feb. 12

8:23am Officers investigated a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 900 block of Marion Road.

9:55am A private property non-injury bump and paint collision on the Family Dollar parking lot in the 200 block of South Lane Street was investigated.

10:34am Officers investigated a fraud complaint in the 100 block of West Galen Street.

10:44am Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 500 block of Failor Avenue.

11:37am A disturbance in the 100 block of Fisher Street was investigated.

1:52pm A resident of Woodbine Apartments reported being assaulted.

4:55pm A parking complaint in the 100 block of W. Oakwood Avenue was unfounded.

5:38pm Officers attempted to serve a warrant on Whetstone Street.

5:57pm Officers attempted to serve a warrant on South Poplar Street.

6:19pm William Zeigler Jr., 22, was arrested in the 600 block of Plymouth Street on a Crawford County warrant. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

6:21pm A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report his grandson’s medication picked up from CVS by someone not authorized to have it.

6:25pm A 34-year-old Bucyrus resident was arrested on charges of theft and possession of marijuana. She was issued a summons and minor misdemeanor citation and was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for investigation on possible further charges.

6:26pm Officers assisted a Crawford County Probation officer in the 100 block of Heritage Circle and one individual was arrested.

6:34pm A report of someone hitting a pole at the intersection of Beverly and Wilbur Street was investigated. There was no damage to the pole and the driver did not want to make a report.

6:46pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of North Sandusky and Lawn Avenue.

7:21pm Officers attempted a welfare check on a resident in the 400 block of West Warren Street.

7:36pm Officers responded with EMS personnel to a medical issue at Woodbine Apartments.

7:36pm Officers checked a building for a resident in the 1000 block of Hopley Avenue.

8:48pm Officers checked an open building on Plymouth Street. The building was secured by officers.

9:54pm A 9-1-1 hang up call from Willard Street turned out to be an accidental dial. There was no emergency.

11:55pm A report of loud music at Pinewood Court was unfounded.

Feb. 13

1:29am Officers responded to a disturbance complaint in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue. Dale E. Scheffler, 53, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of drugs. He was issued a misdemeanor citation and criminal summons and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

3:25am A resident in the 800 block of Rogers Street reported hearing noises outside his residence. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.

4:07am A resident in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street reported hearing noises outside his home. No one was located in the area and the snow around the home was undisturbed.

10:13am A false alarm was received in the 700 block of Gay Street.

10:23am Officers investigated a minor non-injury crash between a black Honda and Red SUV on S. Sandusky at Marion Road.

11:16am A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 500 block of Failor Street.

11:24am A false alarm was received in the 1400 block of Marion Road was human error.

11:47am Officers assisted with a funeral escort.

12:20pm A false alarm was received in the 800 block of Arrowhead Drive.

12:25pm Officers assisted with a funeral escort.

12:40pm A report of a property line dispute was investigated in the 200 block of Gaius Street.

4:23pm Officers attempted to serve a warrant on South Poplar Street.

4:34pm A Bucyrus resident reported her purse stolen from Walmart when she left it in her cart.

5:01pm Officers responded with EMS personnel for an unknown medical emergency on Wilbur Street.

5:05pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Circle K.

5:31pm A report of a vehicle speeding through town from the area of Whetstone Street and Beal Avenue was investigated.

7:18pm Officers responded with EMS personnel to the American Legion for a medical emergency.

7:37pm A report of an assault is under investigation.

8:18pm Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle at Aumiller Park. The vehicle was disabled and they were working on getting it running.

9:30pm Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 400 block of Gay Street. EMS responded to assist.

9:55pm A disturbance in the 1200 block of Teddy Avenue was investigated.

10:07pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Lane and Rensselaer Streets.

11:26pm A report of a young child in the roadway on Hopley Avenue looking for his sister was received. The child was returned to his parents and the daughter had already been located by family.

10:54pm Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of E. Charles St. Michael Radebaugh, 28, was arrested on charges of domestic violence, possession of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and two warrants out of Crawford County. He was also issued a summons for income tax. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

11:50pm Officers checked a residence in the 100 block of South East Street after the resident heard someone in the alleyway. No one was around when officers got to the area and nothing appeared damaged.

Feb. 14

12:01am A 16-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue for underage possession of tobacco and warned for curfew. He was released to a parent pending a court date in Juvenile Court.

2:27am A disturbance between two intoxicated men near Washington Square was investigated.

2:37am Officers assisted Crawford County deputies on a traffic stop in the area of County Road 330 and assisted with the transport of a passenger and an intoxicated driver was arrested.

3:49am A false alarm at Kennedy Layne Salon was a mechanical issue.

4:06am A resident in the 200 block of North Poplar Street reported a door and vehicle damaged.

4:42am A verbal domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Whetstone Street was investigated. Subjects were warned about the noise.

9:25am Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

10:03am A false alarm was received in the 1100 block of Isaac Beal Road.

12:38pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 700 block of North Lane Street.

1:39pm A false alarm was received from the 700 block of Tiffin Street. A subject was completing maintenance in the building.

2:13pm Officers investigated a report of a residential dispute in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

4:01pm A traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of East Mansfield Street.

4:56pm Officers assisted with a civil stand-by at Waterford Glen.

5:34pm Officers are investigating a fake prescription brought into Kroger.

5:49pm Officers attempted to serve a criminal summons and a warrant.

6:34pm A parking complaint was unfounded in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

7:20pm Officers assisted a citizen with a shelter for the night.

7:39pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and Rensselaer Street.

7:50pm A traffic warning was issued in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue.

7:59pm A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

8:27pm A property dispute was mediated and an overtime parking complaint checked in the 200 block of Gaius Street.

9:08pm A false alarm was investigated at the Amvets.

9:10pm A parking citation was issued in the 500 block of South Walnut Street for parking over 48 consecutive hours.

9:36pm A traffic warning was issued on East Mansfield Street.

9:49pm A traffic warning was issued in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street.

Feb. 15

4:18am Officers responded along with EMS personnel to the 1300 block of East Southern Avenue for a medical emergency.

6:09am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at HyMiler.
