Kennedy Center will present “Geometry in Motion” education workshop in Richland County

The Mansfield site of the Kennedy Center’s Partners in Education program will offer a present a “Geometry in Motion” professional development workshop on Jan. 26.

The professional development workshop is geared towards educators and administrators who are interested in using the arts as a teaching tool for common core subjects.

It will feature teaching artist Tom Evert, founder of the internationally acclaimed company DANCEVERT and 2015 recipient of the Ohio Dance Award.

The event will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m., and dinner is included.

Participants will receive up to three contact hours for professional development credit.
