The Bucyrus Secondary School will host a free Community Luncheon for all senior citizens in Crawford County beginning at 11 a.m. Dec. 22.

“Each year we’ve hosted this meal, the crowd has grown,” Secondary School Student Advocate Beth Constantine said. “This is an opportunity for community members and students to interact with one another, and for our district to show our appreciation for the support of our senior citizens.”

The Bucyrus High School Girls Booster club is sponsoring this year’s program. Students and guests will dine in the high school commons area. The Secondary School Choirs will provide entertainment during the luncheon.

“This event is an opportunity for community members to come inside our walls and witness all the wonderful things our students do,” Secondary School Principal Dr. Mark Burke said. “It is important for us to honor and thank the community members who helped make Bucyrus great, and it is a chance for us to give back to a generation that has given so much to our schools and community.”

Reservations are required to attend the luncheon. Call the High School office at 419-562-7721 by Friday, Dec.18 to reserve your seat today. For additional information about the luncheon, please contact Beth Constantine at [email protected] or 419-562-7721.

The Secondary School will also be celebrating the holidays with special activities Dec. 22. Crawford College Connection will be hosting the Redmen Reunion, now in its 25th year, for members of the class of 2016. The school day will conclude with the annual Reindeer Games for both Middle School and High School students.
