7:27am Officers investigated a reported sexual assault and one man is in custody awaiting formal charges.

7:33am A motorist was given a warning for manner of driving while in the 200 block of Hopley Ave.

8:25am A resident in the 900 block of Harris Ave. reported a theft of a pocketbook and cash from a parked vehicle.

10:15am A report of theft from the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. is under investigation.

11:10am Officers are investigating a report of an assault in the 300 block of E. Rensselaer St. One of the parties involved, Elizabeth Boling, was arrested on a Richland County Warrant and transferred to Richland County Jail.

2:04pm A report of a landlord tenant dispute in the 900 block of Whetstone St. was investigated.

3:02pm A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave. was investigated.

3:46pm A report of a possible intoxicated driver was investigated.

6:35pm Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the area of the Bucyrus Hospital.

7:05pm A false alarm was received from the 1200 block of Hopley Ave.

7:14pm Officers warned a group of solicitors reference required permits for soliciting in the city.

7:23pm A report of two pedestrians arguing in the area of Lane and Mary Streets was checked and it was a verbal domestic argument, no assaults or threats.

7:58pm Officers investigated a report of two subjects out with a flashlight in the area of Lane and Blicke Streets; Residents there were working on Christmas decorations.

8:10pm A domestic problem was mediated in the 500 block of South Poplar St.

10:38pm A report of a fight in the area of Washington Square was unfounded.

11:20pm Officers investigated a suspicious person in the Arby’s parking lot. A motorist was stopped to use a cellular device, and they went on their way.

11:31pm An E. Mansfield St. resident reported a possible theft. Officers kept extra watch in the area.

Dec. 4

2:26am A Norwalk resident reported money stolen from his vehicle as he was in the 600 block of S. Sandusky Ave. fueling his vehicle. The individual didn’t notice the money was missing until arriving in Norwalk.

5:26am A Failor St. resident reported someone throwing trash in the bed of his truck in the past two weeks.

5:55am A false alarm was received from the 1600 block of Marion Rd.
