BUCYRUS – For the second year in a row, the Positive Seekers will be holding an Outdoor Christmas Display Contest throughout Bucyrus.

“We want to bring back the decorating contest so people who love to decorate can participate in trying to win fabulous gifts from area merchants and their beautiful displays go noticed,” said Carolyn Shireman, founder of the Positive Seekers.

Shireman said the entry fee for businesses this year is $20 while residential entries are $10 each.

The winner of the business category will receive a certificate and $50 to give to a charity of their choice,” Shireman said.

Winning residential entries will be awarded prizes donated by businesses across the city.

All entries must be received by Dec. 9 and judging will be held on the evening of Dec. 16.

“First and second place winners will be announced on Dec. 16,” Shireman said.

Winners will be contacted by phone and photographs of winning displays will be posted on http://www.Facebook.com/THE POSITIVE SEEKERS.

All proceeds from the contest will go toward future community activities sponsored by the Positive Seekers in the coming year.
