Seiters to celebrate 65th anniversary

Don and Jean Seiter will celebrate their 65th anniversary December 2 with a family private dinner at Water’s Edge Event Center. There will be a private reception with friends and family at a later date.

The former Jean Melcher and Donald Seiter were married December 2, 1950 in the newly built home in Iberia, Ohio by Rev. Herbert Burkhart, uncle of the groom. The couple have two sons, Jerry (Sue) of Ashland, Ohio and Lyle (Beth) of Big Prairie, Ohio. They also have five grand daughters and one grandson (deceased) and five great grand daughters and one great grandson.

The Seiters once owned P & M Restaurant on US 42 in Mt. Gilead (now the site of the Sunoco station). Jean is retired from Galion City Schools and Brethren Care Village in Ashland. Don is retired from ITT, Galion, Ohio and Ashland Country Club.
