Tiffin University announces Veterans Day program & Grand Opening of a Veteran & Military Resource Center

Tiffin University will celebrate Veterans Day on Veteran’s Day at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in Chisholm Auditorium (located inside of Franks Hall) on TU’s main campus. Retired Brigadier General Mark Scheid will be the keynote speaker. Scheid was a tactical and logistics leader in the US Army during his 29-year career. He co-wrote the Strategic Logistics War Plan for Afghanistan and Iraq and served as Chief of Operations & Deputy Commander for the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command.

Following the program, TU will officially open a Veteran & Military Resource Center—a building dedicated to assist and support students and the community in successful navigation from military to academic life. A ribbon cutting will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Bridgwater House, 35 S. Sandusky St. (adjacent to Franks Hall).
