12:41am A report of a suspicious person on Marion Road was someone attempting to walk home to Bucyrus Manor. She was given a ride by officers.

12:55am A false alarm in the 100 block of Iron Street was investigated.

1:06am Officers responded to a report of a subject crawling in the playground area at Bucyrus Elementary. Latonya Dean, 35, was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication, Open Container and Trespassing. She was issued minor misdemeanor citations and a summons, and then transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

1:07am A report of a fight at behind the Horseshoe Bar was investigated. There were no assaults and no one wished to make a report.

1:31am A report of a possible prowler around a business on Marion Road turned out to be an employee.

1:36am A disturbance between neighbors in the 300 block of Hopley Avenue was mediated.

1:50am A traffic warning was issued at Crossroads Blvd.

2:33am A traffic citation for Driving Under Suspension was issued in the area of Oakwood and Broadway Alley.

2:35am Someone leaving an establishment on Washington Square reported their vehicle stolen. It had actually been repossessed earlier in the night.

2:50am A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Hopley Avenue was mediated.

5:10am Two parking citations were written in the area of Woodlawn and Wiley Street.

7:22am A report of an erratic driver on N. Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

8:02am A false alarm at Kennedy Lane Salon was investigated.

8:57am Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 800 block of E. Mansfield Street.

9:09am A custody dispute was documented at the Police Department.

10:01am A resident in the 100 block of Schell Avenue reported diabetic syringes stolen from his residence.

11:06pm Officers checked on an intoxicated man in the area of Southern and Prospect St.

11:29pm A report was made of possible damage to the sidewalk in the area of W. Perry and Sandusky Av.

11:42pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Av.

12:06pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 1100 block of Rogers St.

12:17pm A John St. resident reported a dispute over possession of a cell phone.

12:29pm A two vehicle collision involving a parked car was reported in the 1000 block of Lavina Av.

12:50pm A bicycle was reported stolen in the 400 block of E. Mansfield St. The bike was located later in the afternoon.

1:06pm Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported.

1:31pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Plymouth and Maple St.

3:47pm Officers checked a building on Kaler Av. It was secure.

4:34pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone & Cullen Av.

7:21pm A false alarm was investigated in the 500 block of W. Warren St.

7:30pm A civil standby was requested in the 600 block of W. Perry St.

8:11pm A civil standby was requested in the 300 block of W. Warren St.

8:20pm Officers checked a 911 hang up call in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St.

8:51pm Officers investigated a report of possible shots fired in the 600 block of Prospect St.

9:06pm Report of kids gathering in the 700 block of S. Sandusky was investigated. The group had left the area.

9:17pm Officers investigated a disturbance in the 900 block of S. Poplar St.

9:29pm A report of a suspicious vehicle was made in the 400 block of Songer Av. Subjects were being dropped off at a residence.

9:39pm A report of young children playing in the street in the area of Hopley & East St. was received. They were supervised by parents.

10:12pm A disturbance was investigated in the 600 block of Hill St.

10:13pm A breaking and entering in the 200 block of E. Beal Ave. was investigated.

10:36pm A report of juveniles running in the area of Mary Ann Lane was investigated.

11:36pm A report of possible fireworks in the 1100 block of Monnett St. was investigated.

11:50pm A report of people yelling in the 200 block of N. Lane St. was investigated.

Sept. 6

12:07am Officers delivered a message for Shelby Police Dept. in the 100 block of Wallace Ave.

12:47am A male was cited for driving without a valid license in the area of N. Lane St. and Plymouth St.

1:21am Officers assisted an intoxicated male in the 300 block of E. Mansfield St. He was dropped off with his sister who agreed to look after him.

3:36am Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 800 block of Woodlawn Ave.

3:53am A report of loud music in the 900 block of Elm St. was received and a warning was issued.

5:54am Officers assisted Life Support in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

6:24am Officers investigated an open line 9-1-1 call in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St.

10:31am A S. East St. resident was given a warning reference his barking dogs.

10:31am A Plymouth St. resident reported his vehicle vandalized overnight.

11:45am Officers took a report of a vehicle hitting a mailbox in the 1600 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

11:49am A subject was assisted in entering his locked vehicle in the 100 block of Schell Ave.

11:59am Officers notified the owner of a building that it was found unsecured.

1:27pm A disturbance in the 200 block of W. Galen St. was unfounded.

1:35pm A report of a man with an open container in the 300 block of Wayne Ave. was unfounded.

1:53pm Officers assisted Life Support in the 1700 block of Whetstone St.

2:40pm A subject was assisted in entering their locked vehicle in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

2:41pm Officers took a private property accident in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

3:02pm Officers assisted Brown County Sheriff’s Office with person reported missing from their city. The person was fine.

3:12pm A report of possible fireworks in the 200 block of W. Mary St. was investigated.

3:16pm A report of a dog barking in the 500 block of S. East St. was made.

3:34pm A fireproof safe was found in the 1000 block of Tiffin St.

5:47pm Officers checked the welfare of a person in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

6:58pm A domestic dispute was investigated in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

7:47pm A one vehicle collision with a pole was investigated at Aumiller Park.

7:55pm A disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of E. Warren St.

9:10pm A report of juveniles throwing rocks at cars was investigated on Plymouth St.

9:32pm A report of a possibly intoxicated male walking in the Tiffin St. area was investigated.

9:44pm A report of a suspicious vehicle at the Pines Reservoir was checked.

9:50pm Officers assisted a Crawford County Deputy on St. Rt. 19.

9:53pm Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 100 block of E. Liberty St.

9:56pm Lindsay Eimer, 24, was arrested on a warrant out of Crestline Police Dept. She was issued with a date to appear in court and released.

10:51pm A report of juveniles riding 4 wheelers in the street in the 600 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

11:34pm Officer checked on a vehicle trespassing on private property on Woodlawn at Whetstone St. Richard C. Awbrey, 41, was arrested for possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and possession of drug abuse instruments. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.

Sept. 7

12:05am A resident in the 300 block of E. Charles St. reported threats by subjects in a passing vehicle.

4:21am Officers assisted a Crawford County Deputy on a traffic stop on St. Route 4.

4:27am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 800 block of Wilbur St.

6:04am Officers assisted an elderly female in the 900 block of Faustina Ave.

6:08am A false alarm in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

6:59am A false alarm was received from the 900 block of Nevada Rd.

9:29am A report of a dog being left in a vehicle in the Bucyrus Plaza area was unfounded.

10:29am An officer spoke with a subject on station reference domestic problems.

11:54am A vehicle was checked for 48 hour violation in the 400 block of S. Spring St.

11:55am A report of a dog being left in a vehicle in the area of East Pointe Shopping Center was unfounded.

1:05pm A false alarm was received from the 300 block of Heritage Circle.

1:10pm Officers assisted Mansfield PD checking for a reported missing person in the 1100 block of Monnett St. The subject was not located.

1:29pm A Woodlawn Ave. resident reported her medications stolen sometime yesterday.

1:43pm Officers escorted a trespasser from Kroger.

4:13pm A report of a dog biting its owner on Elm Street was investigated.

5:37pm A report of a suspicious vehicle at Bucyrus Reservoir was investigated. The vehicle left the area before officers arrived.

5:50pm Officers assisted EMS personnel locate a subject needing medical assistance in the area of Emerson and Lawn Avenue.

6:22pm A domestic custody dispute in the 400 block of Hill Street was investigated.

7:12pm A resident in the 1000 block of Wingert Street reported being assaulted by someone she knows.

7:38pm A warning for Dogs Running Loose was issued in the 700 block of Earl Street.

8:00pm Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department on a scene in the 800 block of Cleland Street.

9:00pm Officers responded to a domestic issue in the 1300 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

11:03pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle parked at the Riley Reservoir.

Sept. 8

12:32am A report of a suspicious male in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

2:10am A resident in the 1000 block of Tiffin St. reported hearing noises outside his home. Officer checked around the area and found everything to be all right.

2:32am Officers responded to a domestic issue in the 1000 block of Tiffin St. No assaults or threats were reported.

3:48am A resident in the 300 block of Clinton St. reported seeing flashlights behind his home. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.
