Aug. 27

8:12am Officers met with a subject with information about a previous theft report.

9:54am A false alarm in the 400 block of Plymouth Street was investigated.

11:26am Anthony Burns, 19, was located on W. Mansfield St. and arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and he was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

1:09pm Prescription medication was turned over to an officer for disposal.

1:13pm A wallet found at Lions Field was turned over to an officer who was able to return it to the owner.

1:24pm A report of a stolen check from a business on N. Sandusky Ave. is under investigation.

2:02pm Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 600 block of W. Mansfield Street.

3:06pm A report of suspicious activity in a van at the Suburban Lanes parking lot was investigated. The vehicle was gone before officers arrived.

3:06pm Drug paraphernalia found near S. Lane St. was turned over to an officer.

3:58pm A resident in the 600 block of E. Oakwood Avenue reported her son being harassed by another child in the area.

5:02pm Natalee McIntyre, 20, was arrested on charges of Trespassing at Kroger. She was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

5:14pm Officers conducted a traffic stop on W. Mary St. at N. Poplar St. Brandon Taylor, 27, was arrested on warrants out of Crawford and Hardin County. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to await transport to Hardin County.

5:31pm Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 300 block of W. Mansfield Street.

5:41pm A traffic citation was issued in the area of N. Sandusky and Plymouth Street to Crystal Minamyer for driving under suspension.

5:49pm A false alarm in the 800 block of S. Walnut Street was investigated.

5:59pm A two vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Spring and Oakwood Avenue was investigated. A traffic citation was issued to one of the drivers.

6:05pm A report of kids running into the roadway in the 600 block of E. Warren Street was received.

6:16pm A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Poplar and Mansfield Street was received. Officers spoke to the driver and he was visiting a friend at Heartland of Bucyrus on W. Mansfield and he was not intoxicated.

6:51pm A minor non-injury two vehicle crash in the area of S. Walnut and Mansfield Street was investigated. A traffic citation was issued to one of the drivers.

6:55pm An employee at Little Caesars reported an irate customer. The customer had left the store before officers arrived.

7:05pm Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St. and one female juvenile was arrested.

7:08pm Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street and a warning was given.

7:09pm A resident in the 500 block of Failor Street reported her son hit on the wrist by a rock thrown by another child at Lions Park.

7:31pm A domestic disturbance involving a juvenile in the 1300 block of N. Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

7:52pm An employee of Dollar General reported a possible shoplifting from the store. Officers located the three suspects on Hopley Ave. and are investigating the complaint.

8:31pm A report of a vehicle parked at the top of Outhwaite Reservoir was investigated. The only vehicle found was in the parking area.

8:40pm Officers were requested to make a welfare check on an individual who was overdue for expected return home.

9:36pm Officers assisted a resident in town from Marion who had no way home. CCSO assisted in relaying the individual to Marion County.

11:37pm Officers checked the area around Lions Field for a man reportedly sitting on the ground. The male was located with his friend and his dog and he was fine.

Aug. 28

1:11am A resident in the 900 block of Prospect Street reported receiving harassing messages from someone she knows. She will be seeking a restraining order.

2:23am A report of someone letting off fireworks in the 800 block of S. Spring Street was checked. All was quiet.

3:03am A patron staying at the Knights Inn reported his wallet stolen by a guest he had let into his room.

4:04am A noise disturbance in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue was checked. A business in the area had left music on that was broadcasting outside. The owner was contacted to turn it off.

5:08am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle in the 800 block of S. Spring Street.

5:58am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Beal and Isaac Beal Avenue.

6:02am A traffic citation was issued on Isaac Beal Avenue.
