ASHLAND COUNTY

State Route 39

SR 39, from SR 603 in Richland County to the Holmes County line, is restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. Currently, the contractor is working in the Loudonville area. SR 39, just west of State Route 511, is also reduced to one lane of two-way traffic maintained by a temporary signal for bridge repair work. The project is expected to be complete by November 30, 2015.

US Route 42

US 42, at East Main Street in the City of Ashland, is closed as part of an intersection improvement project. The detour route for truck traffic is US 42 to US Route 30, east on US 30 to Interstate 71, north on I-71 to US Route 250, west on US 250 to US 42, and reverse for southbound motorists. The project will be complete in November 2015.

State Route 89

SR 89, between US 42 and State Route 302 in Orange Township, is closed for two culvert replacements. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 89 to US 42, US 42 north to State Route 302, SR 302 west to SR 89, and reverse for southbound motorists. SR 89 is estimated to reopen August 31, 2015.

State Route 89

SR 89, from US Route 42 to State Route 95, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a preventive maintenance chip seal project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

State Route 179

SR 179, between the village of Hayesville and the Holmes County line, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a preventive maintenance chip seal project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

US Route 250 – ***NEW***

US 250, between Township Road 448 and County Road 500 in Ruggles Township, will be reduced to one lane of traffic beginning Monday, August 24 for bridge repair work. One lane will be maintained at all times. The work is expected to be complete by Thursday, August 27, 2015.

State Route 604

SR 604, between US Route 42 and the Wayne County line, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a preventive maintenance chip seal project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

CRAWFORD COUNTY

State Route 98

SR 98, from the Marion County line to State Route 4, is restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. SR 4, between SR 98 and Charles Street, will also be resurfaced as part of this project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

ERIE COUNTY

US Route 6

US 6, between the City of Huron and the City of Vermilion, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete by August 28, 2015.

US 250 & Perkins Avenue

At the intersection of US 250 and Perkins Avenue, work has shifted in to the next phase of construction. Currently, the north half of Perkins Avenue and the east half of US 250 is impacted with excavation, pavement removal, new concrete curb & gutter installation. Lane restrictions will be in place along Perkins Ave. The project is expected to be complete in November 2015.

US Route 250

US 250, between the Toys R Us and the Sandusky Mall, has intermittent lane restrictions at night for excavation work as part of a corridor improvement project between Bogart Road and Sycamore Line Road. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times during daytime hours, and the majority of work will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. following morning. Beginning Monday, August 24, the work area will shift north to include excavation work along US 250 between Dewitt Avenue and Perkins Avenue, and US 250 north/westbound will be reduced to one lane of traffic from noon to 10pm. The project carries a completion date of September 2016.

HURON COUNTY

State Route 18

SR 18, between the US 20 bypass and the Lorain County line, has intermittent single lane restrictions for work as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete by October 2015.

US Route 224

US 224, from just east of State Route 99 to the eastern corporation limit of Willard, is reduced to two narrowed lanes of traffic for a rehabilitation project. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times and the project is expected to be complete in December 2015.

State Route 547 – ***NEW***

SR 547, between State Route 99 and US Route 20, will close Monday, August 24 for a sewer project within the village of Monroeville. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 547 to SR 99, north on SR 99 to US 20, east on US 20 to SR 547, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road will reopen at the end of October, 2015.

LORAIN COUNTY

State Route 2

SR 2, between the Ohio Turnpike/Interstate 90 split and Middle Ridge Road, is reduced to narrowed lanes of traffic for a major bridge rehabilitation project. Two lanes of westbound traffic are maintained using a contraflow traffic pattern where one lane for local traffic is maintained on the westbound side. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times in both directions. Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution while navigating this work zone and watch for slower moving traffic as it merges in to an open lane. The project is expected to be complete in October 2016.

US Route 20

US 20, between Gore Orphanage Road and Baird Road in Kipton Township, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists is US 20 to State Route 60, SR 60 south to State Route 18, SR 18 east to State Route 511, SR 511 north to US 20, and reverse for westbound motorists. US 20 is estimated to reopen September 7, 2015.

US Route 20

US 20, east of the LaGrange Road interchange, is reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge repair work. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. The project is expected to be complete in late October 2015.

State Route 57

SR 57, between the Ohio Turnpike and Schadden Road in the City of Elyria, is restricted to two narrowed lanes of traffic in each direction for work as part of a major reconstruction project. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area and watch for slower moving traffic as it travels through the work zone. The project is expected to be complete in August 2016.

State Route 58

SR 58, from North Ridge Road to just north of Cooper Foster Park Road in the City of Amherst, is restricted to traffic as part of a resurfacing project. The majority of work will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. There will be occasional daytime lane restrictions when the contractor will be performing concrete repairs. Motorists should expect delays on this project and use caution while traveling near the work locations.

State Route 58

SR 58, just north of State Route 18 in the village of Wellington, is shifted as work progresses in to the next phase of construction for the railroad grade underpass project. One 12-foot lane is maintained in each direction at all times. All parking will be eliminated north of SR 18 as well. The project is expected to be complete by the end of November 2015.

State Route 82

SR 82, from State Route 57 to the Cuyahoga County line, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete by August 28, 2015.

Interstate 90

I-90, at the State Route 57 interchange in Elyria, has intermittent lane restrictions nightly as part of a bridge repair project. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times in each direction from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The project is expected to be complete by August 31, 2015.

State Route 254

SR 254, at its intersection with State Route 57 in Sheffield Township, is closed as part of an intersection improvement project. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 254 to SR 57, south on SR 57 to Interstate 90, east on I-90 to SR 254, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen in mid-September, 2015.

State Route 511/US Route 20

The State Route 511 ramp to US Route 20 eastbound is closed for a bridge repair project. The detour route for motorists is SR 511 to Oberlin Elyria Road, north on Oberlin Elyria Road to State Route 301, south on SR 301 to US 20 east. The ramp is expected to reopen September 17, 2015.

French Creek Road

French Creek Road, over Interstate 90 in the village of Sheffield, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for westbound motorists is French Creek Rd to State Route 254, west on SR 254 to State Route 301, north on SR 301 to French Creek Rd, and reverse for eastbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen October 3, 2015.

Taylor Street

Taylor Street, at its intersection with State Route 58 in the village of Wellington, is closed for work as part of the SR 58 railroad grade separation project. Detour will be posted. The road is expected to reopen in September 2015.

MEDINA COUNTY

US Route 42 – ***UPDATE***

US 42, approximately one-half-mile south of Chippewa Road in Lafayette Township, remains closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for southbound motorists is US 42 to State Route 162, SR 162 west to State Route 83, SR 83 south to State Route 421, SR 421 north to US 42, and reverse for northbound motorists. US 42 is estimated to reopen Monday, August 24, 2015.

State Route 57/State Route 252/Spieth Road

The intersection of State Route 57, State Route 252 and Spieth Road in York Township, is closed to improve the intersection and construct a roundabout. Detours are posted for all legs of the intersection. The work is expected to be complete in September 2015.

SR 57, between the City of Medina and City of Wadsworth, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic is maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete by September 30, 2015.

State Route 94

SR 94, within the City of Wadsworth, is reduced to one lane of traffic each night as part of an urban paving project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times and will primarily be performed at night. The project is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

SR 94, from State Route 18 to State Route 3, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project will be complete by October 2015.

SR 94, between SR 18 and the City of Wadsworth, has intermittent single lane restrictions for work as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete by October 2015.

Interstate 271

I-271, between Interstate 71 and the Summit County line, is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction as part of a micro surface preventative maintenance project. One 11-foot lane will be maintained at all times in each direction. The project will be complete by October 2015.

State Route 303

SR 303, within the City of Brunswick, has shoulder restrictions for work as part of an urban paving and resurfacing project. While the majority of work will be completed during the night hours, work with curb ramp and concrete curb repairs may have shoulders closed during the daytime. The project is expected to be complete in October 2015.

County Road 29

CR 29, between Moss Road (TR 176) and Sanford Road (CR 102) in Harrisville Township, is closed for a bridge replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is CR 29 to Sanford Road, west on Sanford Road to Pawnee Road (CR28), north on Pawnee Road to Moss Road, east on Moss Road, and reverse for southbound motorists. CR 29 is estimated to reopen October 30, 2015.

Township Road 33

TR 33 (Branch Road), between Columbia Road and Bachtel Road in York Township, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for westbound motorists is Branch Road to Columbia Road (CR 24), south on Columbia Road to Smith Road (CR 4), west on Smith Road to Bachtel Road (TR 162) and reverse for eastbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen October 12, 2015.

RICHLAND COUNTY

State Routes 13, 39, 430, 545 & US Route 42

State Routes 13, 39, 430, 545 and US Route 42 in the City of Mansfield are being resurfaced as part of an urban paving program. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project will be complete in late September 2015.

US Route 42

US 42, between Smith Avenue and 8th Avenue in the City of Mansfield, is closed for a bridge repair. The detour route for northbound motorists is US 42 to State Route 39, west on SR 39 to State Route 545, north on SR 545 to US Route 30, east on US 30 to US 42, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen September 14, 2015.

State Route 61 – ***NEW***

SR 61, between State Route 314 and State Route 181 in the village of Crestline, will have intermittent single lane restrictions for work as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete by October 2015.

Interstate 71

I-71, between the Morrow County line and the State Route 39 interchange, has intermittent lane closures as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of traffic will be maintained from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. while two lanes will be maintained during the day in each direction. Work is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

County Road 31 Closure

CR 31 (Bellville-Johnsonville Road), between Ritter Road and Mann Road, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for westbound motorists is CR 31 to State Route 97, northwest on SR 97 to Mock Road, west on Mock Road to State Route 546, south on SR 546 to CR 31, and reverse for eastbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen September 12, 2015.

Township Road 383

TR 383 (Hay Road), between McCurdy Road and Brokaw Road in Butler Township, is closed for a bridge replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is Brokaw Road east to McCurdy Road, McCurdy Road west to TR 383, and reverse for southbound motorist. TR 383 is estimated to reopen Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

WAYNE COUNTY

State Route 3

SR 3, just south of Newkirk Road in Clinton Township, is closed as part of a slide repair project. The detour route for southbound motorists is SR 3 to State Route 95, west on SR 95 to State Route 179, south on SR 179 to SR 3, and reverse for northbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen on September 30, 2015.

State Route 57

SR 57, within the City of Rittman, has intermittent lane restrictions for work as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete on August 28, 2015.

State Route 94

SR 94, between the City of Wadsworth and State Route 585, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete by October 31, 2015.

· SR 94, at its overlap with State Route 585, is reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge work. Two way traffic is maintained with barrels. Work is expected to be complete by August 28, 2015.

State Route 302

SR 302, just west of State Route 539 in Jefferson Township, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 302 to State Route 301, SR 301 north to State Route 604, SR 604 east to State Route 539, SR 539 south to SR 302, and reverse for westbound motorists. SR 302 is estimated to reopen September 11, 2015.

State Route 585

SR 585, approximately one mile north of State Route 94, is reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge work. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with a temporary traffic signal. The work is expected to be complete by August 21, 2015.

State Route 585

SR 585, between Honeytown Road and Old Airport Road, is closed as part of an improvement project. The project will realign approximately one mile of SR 585, and improve the intersections of Thompson Road and Geyers Chapel Road. The detour route for southbound motorists is SR 585 to State Route 57, south on SR 57 to US Route 30, west on US 30 to State Route 3/State Route 83, north on SR 3/SR 83 to SR 585, and reverse for northbound motorists. The work is expected to be complete in September 2015.

Geyers Chapel Road

Geyers Chapel Road, north of SR 585 in Wayne Township, is closed to improve the alignment of its intersection with SR 585. The detour for this closure is Geyers Chapel Road to Smithville Western Road to SR 585 and reverse for northbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen in late September 2015.
