240 marijuana plants reportedly found on Harding Way East

The county’s fight against drugs continued on Friday.

According to reports, Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield said 240 marijuana plants and 200 “ditch weed” plants were found among shrubbery behind 1301 Harding Way E.

A man who lives at the residence, was reportedly in custody on an obstructing justice charge after police said he burned marijuana and tried to flee from police.

The man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, could face additional charges, according to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office.
