7:19am A report of an abandoned bike in the 600 block of Aurora St. was received. The bike was gone upon officer’s arrival.

9:25am A S. Walnut St. resident made a report reference social security fraud.

9:47am A S. Sandusky Ave. resident reported his vehicle entered overnight.

10:16am An income tax summons was served on station.

10:26am A report of a dog loose in the area of Sitler Ave. was forwarded to the Dog Warden.

10:33am A male subject was warned against pan-handling in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

11:15am A male subject was warned against pan-handling in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

11:19am A male subject reported he was assaulted in the 200 block of W. Mary St. Officers are investigating.

11:26am A subject was assisted in entering their locked vehicle in the 200 block of Crossroads Blvd.

11:28am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of Marion Rd. was investigated.

11:30am A report of possible child abuse was received and investigated.

11:38am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 500 block of W. Mary St.

12:07pm An Earl St. resident reported a theft from the residence.

12:39pm Officers assisted with a civil stand by in the 800 block of Cleland Av.

1:30pm Two income tax summons were served on station.

1:53pm Officers assisted with a civil stand by in the 100 block of W. Galen St.

1:56pm A report of a breaking and entering was taken on Reid St.

2:31pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Tiffin and River St.

2:34pm A Martha Av. resident reported a window broken out of their vehicle while parked in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Av.

3:07pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 200 block of Crossroads Blvd.

3:12pm Officers checked a report of children left alone in a vehicle on Norton Way. The vehicle was gone from the area when officers arrived.

3:24pm A report of a person trespassing in the 700 block of Beverly Dr. was investigated.

3:46pm Officers assisted with a civil stand by in the 800 block of Wingert St.

4:19pm A report of a person trespassing on the railroad tracks near Plum St. was investigated.

4:54pm Officers checked on a child riding a scooter in traffic on Prospect and Lucas St.

5:05pm A domestic dispute was investigated in the 900 block of Whetstone St.

7:05pm An employee of Kroger reported a juvenile trespassing at the business.

7:22pm A custody/visitation dispute was reported at the Police Department.

7:26pm An open line 9-1-1 call was investigated in the 300 block of W. Warren Street.

7:42pm A syringe found in the 200 block of Penn Avenue was retrieved and disposed of by officers.

8:11pm Terry Hildebrand, 48, was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Drug Paraphernalia. He was issued minor misdemeanor citations and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

8:38pm Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 800 block of Cleland Street.

8:59pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 1400 block of N. Sandusky Avenue.

9:03pm A report of a theft from a vehicle at Old 30 BBQ was received. It turned out to be a prank by friends of the vehicle owner.

9:04pm A 9-1-1 hang up call was investigated in the area of Sherman and Wilbur Street. No one was located in the area needing assistance.

9:10pm A hit-skip accident in the 700 block of Beverly Drive was reported.

10:07pm A report of an intoxicated person in the area of Lane and Mansfield Street was investigated.

10:13pm An intoxicated male at Circle K was located and transported home to a sober family member.

10:29pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of E. Southern Avenue.

10:48pm A resident of Bucyrus Plaza requested a welfare check on a neighbor. She called back before officers arrived and advised she had spoken to the neighbor and everything was fine.

Aug. 19

12:42am Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident at Bucyrus Plaza.

1:45am Officers assisted a deputy on a traffic stop at Washington Square.

2:18am A domestic disturbance in the 500 block of S. Highland Avenue was investigated.

3:55am John W. Smith, 47, was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
