Aug. 17

7:07am A Lavina Dr. resident reported his unlocked vehicle entered overnight. He stated $10 in change was taken.

7:53am An abandoned bike was picked up in the 900 block of Whetstone St. and brought to the station.

1:05pm An abandoned bike was picked up in the 1200 block of Hopley Ave. and brought to the station.

1:42pm An accident report was taken in the area of Southern and Sandusky Aves.

2:23pm John W. Smith, 68, Bucyrus, was arrested in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave. and charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

3:29pm Officers assisted Crawford County Children’s Services.

3:48pm A report was made of a child riding a bike in traffic in the 500 block of S. Poplar St.

4:03pm An Orra St. resident reported three firearms stolen from their residence.

4:18pm A welfare check was requested in the 1100 block of Whetstone St. The person was located and was fine.

4:31pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 400 block of Heritage Circle.

4:40pm A civil stand by was completed in the 400 block of E. Warren St.

4:52pm A welfare check was requested on motorist parked in the 100 block of E. Charles St. The vehicle was gone from the area.

6:00pm Officers investigated a disturbance reported in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Av.

6:18pm A Teddy Av. resident reported a tablet stolen.

6:33pm An E. Mansfield St. resident reported prescription medication stolen.

7:26pm Richard Wade, 40, was arrested for theft. He was issued with a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance.

8:33pm A report of possible attempted vandalism in the 200 block of W. Mary St. was investigated.

8:50pm A resident in the 800 block of Cleland St. reported a window broken.

9:01pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of S. Spring St.

9:26pm A report of an assault that occurred in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Ave. is under investigation.

10:00pm Travis Hancock, 26, was arrested for domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for a court date.

Aug. 18

12:22am A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of S. Walnut St. and E. Warren St.

12:31am A report of a suspicious male in the 1100 block of Hillcrest Dr. was investigated.

12:41am A male was cited for driving under suspension in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

2:39am A verbal warning was given to a male in the area of Beverly Dr. and Rose Court for not having his dog on a leash.

2:45am A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Ave. and Oakwood Ave.

3:20am A false alarm in the 100 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.

4:07am A resident in the 300 block of E. Mansfield St. reported a TV set stolen from her residence.
