March 14

12:52 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of Easton Way.

2:05 a.m.-A resident in the 900 block of Charles Street reported medication possibly stolen.

7:05 a.m.-An employee of Rich Oil, 300 S. Market St., reported that the business received a counterfeit $20 bill on Tuesday.

8:54 a.m.-A report that copper pipes and expansion tanks from the common area in the 1300 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

12:05 p.m.- Dustan W. Norwood was issued a citation for speeding in the 600 block of South Boston Street.

5:19 p.m.-Syringes found on the corner at Sherman Street and Fairview Avenue were turned over to police for proper disposal.

6:42 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a dog left outside in the cold weather in the 200 block of East Church Street. The owner took the dog inside.

8:54 p.m.-Christopher J. Learn was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of South Market Street.

10:26 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of Second Avenue. The resident was fine.

10:26 p.m.-Officers conducted a welfare check on a resident in the 200 block of Harding Way West at the request of Richland County authorities. The resident was not located.

Bucyrus Police

March 14

7:28 a.m.- Officers responded to a dispute and Jesse D. Davis, 39, was arrested in the 400 block of Woodlawn Avenue on a Crawford County warrant. He was released pending a court appearance. It turned out the people involved in the dispute were arguing about soda pop.

9:15 a.m.- Officers assisted Bucyrus Community Hospital staff in securing property for a patient.

12:37 p.m.- A West Southern Avenue resident reported his wallet missing after getting gas at UDF.

12:42 p.m.- Two income tax summons were served at the station.

1:48 p.m.- Charles E Reese, 53, was arrested in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue on a Crawford County warrant. He was released pending a court appearance.

3:29 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 700 block of Prospect Street.

3:54 p.m.- A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 700 block of Gay Street.

4:22 p.m.- Officers investigated a reportedly suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.

4:24 p.m.- An assault report was taken in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

5:34 p.m.- A two vehicle non-injury collision was investigated in the 200 block of East Mary Street.

7:52 p.m.- Two income tax summons were served in the 700 block of Arrowhead Drive.

8:29 p.m.- A report of missing property at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated and the items were located and assistance rendered to the resident.

10:25 p.m.- Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

10:48 p.m.- Officers conducted a welfare check at Tim Horton’s.

11:30 p.m.- Traffic stop was made in the 700 block of South Sandusky Avenue. Michael Walter, 56, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was issued a date to appear in court and released to his mother.

March 15

3:30 a.m.- A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Marion Road was unfounded.

6:28 a.m.- Officers checked on a vehicle stopped in the intersection of Ann and Myers Streets. It was found to have rolled there due to a defective parking brake.
