COLUMBUS — The Ohio School Boards Association Central Region recognized Galion City Schools during its Spring Conference as being an “Outstanding School” based on the Ohio Department of Education’s designation as a “2015 All-A School.”

The region presents the Outstanding School award to schools deemed by the Ohio Department of Education as a “School of Promise” or an “All-A School.” Likewise, schools selected by the United States Department of Education as “Blue Ribbon Schools,” are recognized as outstanding.
