7:34am A report of a possibly impaired driver in the area of Sandusky and Oakwood was investigated. The driver was not impaired but was advised of the complaint.

8:48am A motorist was given a traffic warning at Lane and Mary.

11:23am Officers made a welfare check in the 700 block of Sunset Dr.

12:07pm A release notification was made in the 100 block of Wayne Ave.

2:21pm A report of a domestic dispute in the 500 block of S. Walnut St. was investigated.

2:21pm A subject requested to speak with an officer in the area of Pinewood Ct.

2:21pm Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 500 block of S. Walnut St.

3:13pm A report of a possible sex crime is under investigation.

3:35pm Officers spoke to a victim of a dog bite who was being treated at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

3:39pm A resident in the 1100 block of S. Walnut St. reported their juvenile son had run away. He was located shortly thereafter.

3:41pm Officers assisted Life Star in the 100 block of N. Lane St. with a man who was lying in the alley.

4:37pm A report of a shoplifting at Walmart led to the arrest of a female who was transported to Crawford County Jail.

5:42pm A parking complaint in the 800 block of S. East St. was resolved.

5:49pm A report of a breaking and entering in the 200 block of Schaber Ave. was investigated.

6:08pm A report of a building with an open door in the 500 block of S. Spring St. was checked. The previous owners had left the area prior to officer arriving.

6:57pm A report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the area of Short St. and Prospect St. was investigated. The vehicle involved was located by CCSO.

7:10pm A citizen came on station to report property stolen from her vehicle.

7:40m A report of a juvenile trying to get into parked vehicles in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated. Officers located the juvenile male involved.

7:47pm Officer responded to the 200 block of N. Poplar St. for a report of an intoxicated male verbally accosting passersby. John W. Smith, 47, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was issued with a criminal summons and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

8:19pm A report of speeders in the Whetstone St. area was investigated.

8:27pm A report of a vehicle driving in the grass at Aumiller Park was investigated and the vehicle involved was located.

8:37pm A traffic warning was given in the 500 block of Rogers St.

8:59pm A report of people entering an abandoned building in the 500 block of S. East St. was investigated. The building was found to be empty.

9:09pm A report of a breaking and entering in the 400 block of E. Lucas St. was investigated.

9:12pm A report of a fight in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was carryover from an earlier dispute.

9:30pm Officers spoke to a citizen on station about an accident that had occurred earlier in the evening.

9:38pm A report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the Hopley Ave. area was investigated.

9:43pm A traffic citation was issued in the 100 block of N. Poplar St.

9:50pm Officers reunited a 5 year old boy with his parents at Walmart after he became separated from them.

9:57pm A report of unruly subjects at the skate park at Lions Field was resolved.

10:04pm Officers spoke to a male in the 100 block of Wayne Ave. about some concerns he had.

11:13pm A report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

11:39pm A traffic warning was given in the W. Southern Ave. area.

11:57pm A traffic warning was given in the area of W. Irving St. and Dean St.

July 18

12:02am A traffic waning was given in the 300 block of S. Lane St.

12:23am A traffic warning was given in the area of N. Poplar St. and W. Mary St.

12:27am A traffic warning was given in the area of Marion Rd. and Allen Ave.

12:48am Officers on patrol checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at the old Swan Rubber building. It was a previously reported disabled vehicle.

12:54am A traffic warning was given in the area of Isaac-Beal Rd.

1:14am A report of an unwanted male in the 200 block of E. Rensselaer St. was investigated. The male involved was escorted from the area to his residence.

1:28am A report of an intoxicated male in the area of E. Mansfield St. near the RR overpass was investigated. He was transported to his home by officers.

2:17am A report of a disorderly male in the city lot off of N. Poplar St. was investigated. Ashley Clemons, 27, was located in City Lot 3 and was arrested for felonious assault stemming from a prior incident. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for investigation.

4:49am A report of a drunk male yelling in the area of Whetstone St. and E. Southern Ave. was investigated.

6:16am A false alarm in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

6:26am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 500 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

8:19am Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 300 block of E. Lucas St.

9:14am A false alarm from the 900 W. Perry St. was investigated.

9:36am Officers did a standby over property in the 1600 block of Whetstone St.

12:16pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 400 block of Mader Dr.

12:23pm A false alarm was received in the 700 block of Ridge Ave.

1:23pm A report of a hit-skip accident in the 500 block of S. Walnut St. was investigated.

2:17pm A traffic warning was issued to a motorist for manner of driving in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St.

2:44pm Report received of an individual passed out on a basement stairwell in the 100 block of N. Lane St. John W. Smith, 47, was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

3:15pm A Bucyrus resident reported her vehicle damaged in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield Street when another vehicle driving in the area threw something at her car.

3:22pm An employee at Kroger reported an attempted shoplifting from last night.

4:16pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Walmart.

4:52pm Report received of a dispute between motorists on N. Sandusky Ave. near US 30. One vehicle involved left the area.

6:05pm A resident in the 400 block of E. Charles Street reported a window broken in their residence by a neighbor child.

6:48pm A report of kids swimming the pond behind the Crossroads Industrial Park was unfounded.

7:22pm A report of a possible collision with a parked car near W. Rensselaer and S. Spring St. was unfounded.

8:45pm A report of a possible theft was investigated. It turned out to be a civil issue.

8:55pm Elizabeth Boling, 27, was located in the 1500 block of E. Mansfield St. and arrested on 6 Crawford County warrants. She was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

10:19pm A false alarm at a residence in the 1400 block of E. Southern Avenue was investigated.

10:30pm Officers assisted a State trooper on a traffic stop in the area of State Route 19.

11:43pm A false alarm was received from the 900 block of W. Perry St.

11:56pm Officers assisted a State Trooper in the 300 block of S. Lane St. attempting to locate a subject involved in a crash OSP was investigating from the prior day. The subject was located.

July 19

12:03am A disturbance in the 900 block of Marion Rd. was investigated. No problem was found.

12:08am A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated. A family member of the subjects involved requested a welfare check of the subjects involved.

12:22am Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. due to a report of a possible domestic problem in the vehicle. All was found to be ok.

1:04am A motorist was given a warning for turn signals in the area of Oakwood and East.

1:23am A report of an assault was received and remains under investigation.

2:04am Officers assisted a Sheriff’s Deputy with a traffic stop at Rensselaer and Walnut St.

2:16am A report of a disturbance in City Lot #3 was investigated. The group dispersed upon officer’s arrival.

2:27am Randall Allen, 21, Anthony Burns, 19 and Zachary Frazier, 20 were arrested in the 200 block of W Mary St. for disorderly conduct by fighting. They were each given a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

2:51am A report of a domestic problem in the 700 block of Sunset Dr. was investigated.

3:26am A 9-1-1 open line call in the 700 block of Gay St. was investigated.

4:50am A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of E. Warren St.

4:52am Officers responded to a report of a tree branch that fell on a vehicle in the area of Poplar and Liberty. The city crew was notified and cleared the scene.

9:58am Officers investigated a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was assisted in seeing a counselor.

10:13am Officers took a breaking and entering report in the 500 block of S. Highland Ave.

10:23am A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of Ohio Dr.

11:03am A subject was assisted in entering their locked vehicle in the 200 block of N. Poplar St.

12:03pm Officers investigated a verbal disturbance in the 300 block of E. Charles St.

12:52pm A parking complaint in the 500 block of Prospect St. was resolved by the owner moving the vehicle.

1:02pm Officers investigated a report of an assault to a young lady in the 400 block of E. Charles St.

1:14pm Officers investigated a report of an assault of a man in the Broadway Alley area.

1:32pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 600 block of Whetstone St.

1:56pm Officers checked a parking complaint in the 900 block of S. East St. The vehicles were moved by the owner.

2:29pm A resident at Woodbine Apartments reported that 2 dogs running loose in the area were preventing her from exiting her apartment. The owner of the dogs was located and removed the dogs from the area.

3:00pm Officers assisted a homeless female to find a room for the night.

3:53pm A hit-skip accident at the Bucyrus Community Hospital was investigated. The suspect driver was located and a citation was issued.

4:09pm Two syringes found outside Dollar General were turned over to an officer for disposal.

4:16pm A report of an injured and neglected dog was investigated. The owner was currently waiting for a ride to take the dog to the vet.

6:28pm A domestic disturbance in the area of Waterford Glen was checked and officer met with both parties involved; no assaults or threats.

7:33pm Officers responded to the 500 block of S. Walnut St. regarding an intoxicated male that was trespassing there. The suspect was located, arrested and is being held at the Crawford County Jail until sober.

7:39pm A verbal domestic dispute in the 600 block of Hill Street was mediated while one of the parties involved was moving out.

8:23pm A false alarm in the 900 block of S. Spring Street was investigated.

8:41pm A report of loud music in the 900 block of Elm Street was investigated. There was no violation.

9:09pm A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Sherman Street was investigated.

9:24pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the area of Liberty and Walnut Street.

10:43pm Officers made a welfare check in the 100 block of Fisher St.

11:29pm A resident in the 1200 block of Teddy Avenue reported a possible prowler in the area. No one was located.

July 20

12:32am Christopher Hosey, 34, was arrested on charges of OVI and a Delaware County warrant. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

3:07am Officers assisted a State trooper on a traffic stop in the area of State Route 19.

5:58am Officers assisted a motorist whose vehicle had broken down in the area of Mansfield and Poplar Street.

6:11am Officer made a traffic stop and issued a warning in the 1800 block of N. Sandusky Ave. Jennifer Carpenter, 35, was arrested on two Crawford County warrants. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

6:31am A 9-1-1 hang up call from the area around BPT was investigated. No one was located needing assistance.
