8:31am A false alarm was received from the 700 block of Hill St.

10:58am A motorist was warned for equipment violation in the area of Sandusky and Mary Streets.

11:11am Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department with traffic control in the 100 block of E. Warren St.

11:21am A W. Charles St. property owner reported two garage door windows broken.

12:31pm Four income tax summons were served to a subject on station.

12:54pm A subject came on station to speak with an officer reference a theft complaint.

1:08pm Subjects came on station to report a theft of an Ohio Directions card.

1:12pm Officers investigated a parking in an alley complaint in the area of Failor and Warren. The vehicle had left the area.

1:45pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Hill St. was investigated. The vehicle owner had permission to park her car at the location.

2:01pm Property found by a business owner in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St. was brought to the station and returned to its owner.

2:22pm A two vehicle non-injury crash in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

2:40pm Officers took a crash report of a vehicle hitting the building at Dairy Crest on E. Mansfield St.

2:55pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at First Merit Bank.

3:07pm Mark Bauer, 57, was arrested on charges of Theft after reportedly shoplifting from Sunoco. He was issued a summons and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for bond.

3:17pm A report of a suspicious vehicle on Beal Avenue was investigated. The subject was stopped to use a phone.

4:44pm John W. Smith, 47, was arrested from an incident in the 100 block of Wayne Ave. on charges of Domestic Violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

5:08pm Officers checked the area of Irving and High Street after receiving a report of two males loitering in the area.

5:31pm Two 14 year old boys were arrested on charges of Theft from a complaint in the 200 block of Plymouth St. They were released to their parents pending a court date through juvenile court.

6:09pm A girl’s purple and pink Huffy bicycle abandoned in the 200 block of E. Warren Street was brought to the Police Department.

6:19pm A report of glass broken out of a door in the 400 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

6:41pm A resident in the 1000 block of S. East Street reported their child assaulted by another juvenile.

7:48pm Officers assisted with a civil standby for property exchange in the 600 block of E. Warren Street.

8:25pm Officer responded to a disturbance between neighbors in the 800 block of E. Rensselaer Street.

8:29pm A false alarm in the 100 block of William Street was investigated.

9:18pm Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department in the 300 block of W. Mary St.

9:22pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Aumiller Park.

9:44pm A verbal warning for fireworks was issued in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

10:26pm A traffic warning was issued in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Avenue.

11:51pm A report of a parked vehicle with the door open in the 900 block of Rogers St. was investigated. The door had been shut and secured prior to officer’s arrival.

July 17

12:03am A report of vandalism in the 900 block of Sherman St. was investigated.

12:19am A resident in the 800 block of High St. reported a security light broken.

12:31am Officers assisted Life Support in the 1700 block of Whetstone St.

12:32am A traffic warning was given in the area of E. Mansfield St. and E. Mary St.

1:05am Officers assisted a State Trooper in the 1500 block of N. State Route 4 searching for a suspect that ran from the scene of the traffic stop.

1:31am Officer responded to a report of a large crowd gathering in city lot 3 near Washington Square. The crowd dispersed.

2:24am A male was cited for driving under suspension in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

3:30am Officers spoke to a female being treated at Bucyrus Community Hospital that reported being assaulted. The incident is under investigation.

6:22am A traffic warning was given in the 200 block of S. Sandusky.
