9:13 a.m.-Sara A. Tripp was issued citations for speeding and driving with an expired driver’s license on County Line Road.

10:22 a.m.-A resident in the 600 block of Cherry Street reported vandalism to their residence.

12:49 p.m.-A non-injury accident in the 800 block of Harding Way West was investigated. Teresa Fritz was issued a citation for right of way at intersections.

5:41 p.m.-A neighborhood dispute was investigated in the 1000 block of Harding Way East.

6:07 p.m.-Officers investigated possible violations of a protection order in the 300 block of Tidd Drive.

6:10 p.m.-Marilyn Ehmann was issued a citation for a red light violation in the 100 block of First Avenue.

6:36 p.m.-A report of the theft of Minecraft toys from a child at Heise Park was investigated.

9:05 p.m.-Virginia Wilcox was issued a citation for driving under suspension on South Street near Parson Street.

10:23 p.m.-A report of a missing juvenile was being investigated when the girl pulled up on her bike.

Sept. 24

8:06 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS with a possible drug overdose in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.

8:50 a.m.-A bank recovery employee reported a back door of a residence in the 100 block of North Union Street had been kicked in.

11:40 a.m.-A report of vandalism to a vehicle at Heise Park was investigated.

9:21 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue with a possible drug overdose.

9:51 p.m.-A domestic dispute in the 400 block of Portland Way North was investigated.

10:23 p.m.-A report of people running around in clown masks and stopping and staring at people in the 500 block of North Union Street was investigated.

10:50 p.m.-A domestic dispute in the 800 block of South Street was investigated.

Sept. 25

6:12 a.m.-A report of a man in his porch in his underwear was investigated in the 100 block of Harding Way West.

9:58 a.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Gill Avenue was investigated.

12:50 p.m.-A syringe was found in the 200 block of North Union Street was turned over to police for proper disposal.

2:44 p.m.-A resident reported someone dressed as a clown made threats in the 200 block of Fellow Street.

5:19 p.m.-A report of the possible theft of internet service in the 500 block of Galion Arms was investigated.

7:37 p.m.-A report of a fight at East Park was investigated.

8:54 p.m.-A report of a man standing behind Geyer’s wearing a clown mask was investigated. Officers could not locate the clown.

10:14 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of North Riblet Street was investigated. Richard Palmer was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

11:26 p.m.-A report of four people dressed as clowns near Galion City Schools was investigated. Officers did not locate anyone in the area wearing clown costumes.

Sept. 23

7:11 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 1000 block of East Warren Street.

8:48 a.m.-A person came to the station to report a theft. Officers are investigating.

10:03 a.m.-A female came to the station to report being harassed. The accused was warned to stop contacting her.

10:23 a.m.-Officers picked up found property from the 200 block of East Mansfield Street.

10:47 a.m.-Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 1500 block of Hopley Avenue.

10:54 a.m.-A report of a couple fighting in a vehicle at Fairview Avenue and Melody Lane was received. The vehicle was gone upon officer’s arrival.

12:16 p.m.-A two-car collision in the Kroger parking lot was investigated.

2:42 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a woman in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

3:03 p.m.-An employee at Sunoco reported that someone had shoplifted beer from the business. The accused was located the next day and served a criminal summons.

3:10 p.m.-A resident of Garnet Court reported her son’s bicycle stolen last night.

4:36 p.m.-Officers served a search warrant at 124 N. Spring St. Evidence of drug abuse, drug possession and child endangerment was recovered. Further investigation at 222.5 W. Mansfield St., located Samuel Shepherd, 35, who was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County, drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin and selling dangerous drugs. Officers recovered a large quantity of suspected heroin and prescription medication. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await an appearance in court. Officers assisted a man experiencing mental issues and Child and Adult protective services assisted and is investigating matters at both locations.

4:47 p.m.-A disturbance between neighbors in the 400 block of East Irving Street was investigated.

5:16 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 400 block of East Irving Street was investigated.

5:39 p.m.-A report of two suspicious males around Washington Square was investigated.

5:40 p.m.-A disturbance in the 500 block of West Rensselaer Street was investigated.

7:22 p.m.-A private property collision in the parking lot at Michael’s Pizza was investigated.

9:36 p.m.-A report of suspicious people at Harmon Field was unfounded.

10:45 p.m.-A report of a female screaming in a vehicle in the area of Penn Avenue and East Mansfield Street was investigated.

11:05 p.m.-A report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

Sept. 24

12:21 a.m.-Benjamin Smith, 43, was arrested for theft in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. He was issued a criminal summons and released with a court date.

1:13 a.m.-Officers dispersed an altercation in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

2:55 a.m.-An employee of Bucyrus Community Hospital reported his vehicle rummaged through.

12:29 p.m.-A report of a possible breaking and entering in the 100 block of North Spring Street was unfounded. Residents were removing property from their home.

1:34 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of possible drug use in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street.

3:19 p.m.-Charlie Swain, 60 was issued a citation for allowing her dog to run at large at Outhwaite Reservoir. She was issued a minor misdemeanor citation to appear in court.

3:52 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue. The individual moved his car from the private property he was not welcome to park on and he was issued a summons from a theft complaint at Sunoco the previous day.

4:29 p.m.-Two income tax summons were issued in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

5:15 p.m.-Officers checked on a suspicious male in the 1100 block of Stetzer Road.

5:22 p.m.-A message was delivered in the 500 block of East Charles Street.

5:51 p.m.-A report of a person bitten by a dog was investigated. It was the pet owner and they were given a quarantine notice.

6:09 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in checking a report of a man walking on railroad property on Ohio 98.

6:18 p.m.-One income tax summons was served in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

6:49 p.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 600 block of Kaler Avenue.

7:04 p.m.-A report of possible vandalism on Washington square was unfounded.

7:45 p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the 300 block of South Sandusky Avenue and the individuals cleaned up after themselves.

8:54 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person was investigated in the 100 block of East Charles Street.

9:04 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of West Mary Street.

9:06 p.m.-A suspicious vehicle reported in the area of Riley Reservoir was someone exercising with Pokemon.

10:40 p.m.-A disturbance in the 900 block of Rogers Street was a verbal domestic dispute and one of the parties left the area.

10:49 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 600 block of Virginia Avenue.

11:58 p.m.-A report of mailboxes and a sign being knocked over in the 500 block of Failor Street was investigated. The vehicle involved was located on another street.

Sept. 25

1:21 a.m.-A disturbance at an establishment was mediated and a misdemeanor citation issued.

1:28 a.m.-A verbal warning for trespassing was issued to a patron of a downtown bar.

1:36 a.m.-A resident in the 200 block of Blicke Street reported someone shining a flashlight into her windows.

1:57 a.m.-A traffic citation was issued in the area of Plymouth and Lane Streets.

2:09 a.m.-A disturbance in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was resolved when the people dispersed.

2:10 a.m.-A resident in the 800 block of Maple Street reported possible trespassing.

2:31 a.m.-A report of a fight in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was checked and the people had dispersed.

2:32 a.m.-A disturbance in the 700 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated.

2:56 a.m.-A report of a fight in the area of Mansfield and Spring Streets was checked and one of the parties had left. No one wanted to make a report.

3:31 a.m.-A traffic warning was issued and a passenger had an active Crawford County income tax warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

4:51 a.m.-A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report receiving threats from someone he knows.

9:19 a.m.-Officers investigated the report of a fight in the 100 block of North Spring Street. The people involved had dispersed.

10:44 a.m.-Officers responded to a report of juveniles with a slingshot shooting at vehicles and houses in the 600 block of West Warren Street. Officers located the juveniles.

11:40 a.m.-An abandoned bicycle was picked up at Circle K and brought to the police department.

12:41 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic disturbance and Lori Bindner, 35, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in the area of Southern and Union Avenue. She was taken to Crawford County Justice Center and issued a summons to appear in court.

1:27 p.m.-A report of fireworks in the area of Rogers Street and Hopley Avenue was investigated.

2:42 p.m.-A report of a maroon vehicle striking a fire hydrant and leaving the scene was investigated at Oakwood and Virginia Avenues. A Toyota emblem was left at the scene.

2:45 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1400 block of Eloise Street.

5:33 p.m.-A traffic report was made of an older, large grey or green sedan striking a parked car in the 900 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

6:55 p.m.-An assault report was taken at the police department.

7:30 p.m.-Officers assisted Life support Team Ambulance in the 300 block of East Warren Street.

7:59 p.m.-A report of possible child abuse was received and a welfare check made in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.

8:19 p.m.-Officers issued a traffic warning in the area of Rensselaer and Lane St.

8:25 p.m.-A report of people looking in vehicles in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street was checked.

8:58 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle repeatedly driving through the 100 block of West Irving Street was investigated.

9:57 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person experiencing mental issues at Woodbine Apartments.

10:13 p.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of Blicke Street was investigated.

10:47 p.m.-A report of vehicles speeding through Aumiller Park was received.

Sept. 26

12:45 a.m.-A resident in the 700 block of Faustina Avenue reported his cell phone stolen. It was later located and returned to him.

1:10 a.m.-An audible alarm was heard in the area of Woodlawn and Walnut Street. Officers were not able to locate the alarm before it reset.

1:11 a.m.-A false alarm in the 1000 block of Martha Avenue was investigated.

3:04 a.m.-Officer was investigating a larceny complaint of a stolen cell phone on Rogers St. at Hopley Ave. and the suspect Dominique Benedict, 19, was arrested on charges of Possession of Marijuana. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

3:09 a.m.-A loud noise from the 500 block of S. Highland Avenue was found to be raccoons in the area.

5:57 a.m.-A false alarm was investigated at Cooper’s Mill.
