RALLY DAY —A Rally Day will be held at 9 a.m. on Sept. 11 at Calvary United Church of Christ in Crestline. We will be detectives on the search for evidence of God’s love. We will play fun games, win great prizes, and eat a delicious breakfast. All children are invited to join in the fun.

GALION CITY COUNCIL — Regular meeting. 7 p.m. Municipal Building.

The Crawford County Board of Elections — will meet Tuesday, Sept, 13, at 9:30 a.m. to conduct regular business.  The meeting will be held in the board office at 112 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus.

Sept. 15

Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities — will have its monthly board meeting Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. in the board room at 1650 E. Southern Avenue, Bucyrus.

Crawford Park District Board of Park Commissioners: will meet Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 a.m at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center, 2401 Ohio 598, Crestline. For  information, callt the Park District Office at 419-683-9000.

BUCKEYE CENTRAL SCHOOL BOARD — will have its next regular meeting Sept. 15 at 8:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at Buckeye Central Local School at 938 South Kibler St., New Washington.

AUTHOR EVENT — Spoil your dog with the Good Dog! Pet Cookbook Homemade dog treats that are guaranteed to be a hit with your dog. Local author, Noel Lizotte, has a newly released cookbook focused completely on healthy homemade dog treats. Over 100 pages of recipes featuring all kinds of treats: frozen, baked, diabetic and vegetarian. You´re bound to find a treat that your dog will love. Market St.) community room for a book signing and dog treat making demonstration.

DINNER THEATER —Friends of the Bucyrus Public Library will present a a dinner theater “Murder on the Petulant Express” at the Elks Lodge, 309 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Dinner, catered by Gary Auck of Carle’s Market, begins at 6 p.m. There will be a silent auction and a raffle. Tickets are $25 at the desk of the library, by calling 419-562-7327, ext. 102 or by contacting a Friends of the Public Library board member.
