Galion Police

Aug. 31

10:27 a.m.-A trailer hitch was reported stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Galion Community Hospital.

12:17 p.m.-A report of an assault was investigated in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

1:17 p.m.-An injury crash involving a motorcycle was investigated in the 700 block of Harding Way West.

2:57 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of South Market Street reported a television and a Play Station 4 stolen sometime in the last three weeks.

7:51 p.m.-A report of a juvenile on Public Square with a bag of marijuana was investigated.

8:38 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated on South Boston Street near Grove Avenue.

9:06 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of Fellow Street.

Bucyrus Police

Aug. 31

8:43 a.m.- A report of a possible impaired driver in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated. The occupant was slumped over in the parked vehicle working and not intoxicated.

11:41 a.m.- A Galion resident was cited for driving under suspension in the area of Washington Square.

11:54 a.m.- A report of a juvenile walking up and down Garnet Court was investigated. He was gone upon officer’s arrival.

3:08 p.m.- A West Mary Street resident reported a theft by someone known to them.

3:50 p.m.- Officers checked on a report of possible suspicious activity near West Mansfield and Spring Streets.

3:55 p.m.- Detectives with the assistance of the New Washington Police Department conducted an investigation leading to an arrest of one male on Whetstone Street for pandering obscenity. Formal charges are pending.

4:02 p.m.- A report of a juvenile being assaulted by another juvenile was made at the police department.

4:24 p.m.- A report of a cell phone being stolen was made at the police department.

4:34 p.m.- Mason Olmstead, 21, was arrested in the 100 block of North Spring Street on two Crawford County warrants. He was released pending a court date.

6:05 p.m.-A five-year-old reported missing in the 200 block of East Mary Street was located a short time later.

6:40 p.m.- A juvenile complaint was investigated in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

8:44 p.m.- A report of a vehicle speeding in the area of Ridge and Gay Streets was investigated.

9:10 p.m.- Roger Boling, 26, was arrested in the 1000 block of Wingert Street on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice center to be held for court.

9:13 p.m.- Officers spoke to an East Oakwood Street resident about possible mail theft.

10:09 p.m.- A subject was warned against delivering unwelcome messages.

10:29 p.m.- A report of a person walking on the railroad tracks in the Woodlawn Avenue area was a railroad employee.

10:41 p.m.- A bottle of prescription medication for allergies found at the Bucyrus Public Library was brought on station.

10:45 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of South Poplar Street was checked and the vehicle had left the area.

11:12 p.m.- A resident in the 600 block of West Warren Street reported vehicle trespass and $3 in change and a CD case stolen.

Sept. 1

2:08 a.m.- Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at Aumiller Park. They were found to be catching Pokemon.
