Aug. 30

9:08 a.m.-Officers picked up Brad Tanner in the West Church Street area on a misdemeanor warrant. He was taken to court along with a female.

5:37 p.m.-A North Market Street resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.

6:14 p.m.-Officers completed a welfare check on a resident in the 400 block of South Boston Street.

9:39 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 100 block of Easton Way was investigated.

10:42 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Harding Way East reported medication stolen.

11:08 p.m.-A resident in the 200 block of Walker Street reported a theft from a vehicle. A military bag containing a laptop computer was reported stolen.

Bucyrus Police

Aug. 30

7:45 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of suspicious persons in the 100 block of Washington Square.

10:14 a.m.- A two car non-injury accident was investigated in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. A citation for failure to yield while turning left was issued to one driver.

10:51 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of an unruly child in the 300 block of East Charles Street.

11:09 a.m.- Officers checked City Lot 3 for a suspicious vehicle and man.

11:51 a.m.- Officers spoke to a resident in the 1100 block of East Warren Street regarding a civil issue.

12:21 p.m.- Marion County Sheriff’s office was contacted to do a welfare check on a man.

2:14 p.m.- Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 400 block of Sears Street.

2:29 p.m.- Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue.

3:47 p.m.- A report of possible child abuse was received and remains under investigation.

4:28 p.m.- A report from the Bucyrus Elementary School about a young child not picked up at the bus stop was received. A family member was contacted and picked up the child.

5:31 p.m.- Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue.

6:09 p.m.- Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident in the 700 block of Plymouth Street.

6:35 p.m.- The line anchored to the roadway to count traffic by Kroger was pulled away from the road. A message was left with the Bucyrus City Street Department to repair or remove from the area.

7:11 p.m.- A resident in the 100 block of Wiley Street reported a burglary at his residence.

8:15 p.m.- A disturbance in the 800 block of Prospect Street was investigated.

10:07 p.m.- A traffic citation was issued in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and East Beal Avenue.

10:56 p.m.- Angela Cary, 33, was arrested on a warrant out of Delaware County.

11:11 p.m.- Officers assisted a State Trooper in the area of Woodlawn Avenue and Jones Street.

Aug. 1

12:38 a.m.- Officers assisted with a bat in a residence in the 100 block of South Poplar Street.

4:01 a.m.- Officers spoke to a male about some issues he was dealing with.

4:33 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of an open door to a residence in the 900 block of Sherman Street. The homeowner was found to be there.
