Aug. 4

6:15 a.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Koppe Court reported a vehicle hit their front porch then left the scene.

9:02 a.m.-A report of a man leaving Galion Community Hospital with an IV in his arm was investigated. The man was taken back to the hospital to return the IV.

12:47 p.m.-Jonathan B. Strykul was issued a citation for speeding in the 600 block of North Market Street.

12:49 p.m.-A Galion resident reported their debit card used in South Euclid without their permission.

3 p.m.-A bicycle found in the 1200 block of Smith Street was turned over to the police department.

5:36 p.m.-A report of a breaking and entering was investigated in the 300 block of Sherman Street.

6:37 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Switzer Drive reported receiving harassing phone calls.

10:43 p.m.-A report of a truck driving through the grass at East Park while chasing someone on a bicycle was investigated but was not located.

Bucyrus Police

Aug. 4

8:16 a.m.-Officers spoke with a subject that had been reportedly looking in garages in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

8:50 a.m.-Officers spoke with subjects at Aumiller Park in reference to a stolen bike that had been found there. The bike was returned to its owner.

11:16 a.m.-Employees of the Bucyrus Outreach Center reported trash being dumped in their back parking lot.

11:19 a.m.-Officers spoke with a subject on station in reference to domestic issues.

12:21 p.m.-Officers assisted Life Support in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

12:37 p.m.-Officers assisted Life Support in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street.

1:33 p.m.-A Marion Road resident reported her wallet missing some time since yesterday afternoon.

2:35 p.m.-Officers took a private property accident report in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot.

3:13 p.m.-Officers spoke to Dudley Street resident about vandalism to their property.

3:59 p.m.-A report of possible drug use was investigated on Earl Street.

4:10 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person was made in the area of Perry and Sears Streets. It was a solicitor.

4:11 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disorderly person in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

5:00 p.m.-A Reid Street resident reported receiving threatening text messages.

5:18 p.m.-A report of a three wheeler speeding in an alley in the 200 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

6:05 p.m.-Officers spoke to a Maple Street resident about a child custody issue.

6:34 p.m.-Officers checked on a dog inside a hot vehicle at Walmart. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

9:04 p.m.-Officers investigated a shoplifting report at Walmart.

9:07 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 500 block of Poplar Street.

10:43 p.m.-A report of gunshots in the Faustina and Southern Avenue area was investigated. Found to be fireworks.

Aug. 5

1:50 a.m.-A vehicle was vandalized in the Lutz Drive area.

3:07 a.m.-Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department with a fire in the 400 block of Emerson Street.

5:29 a.m.-Juveniles were reported out in the 900 block of Earl Street.
