BOARD MEETING — The Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold their regularly scheduled monthly board meeting at 7 p.m. in the board room at 1650 E. Southern Avenue, Bucyrus.
CRAWFORD PARK DISTRICT MEETING —The Crawford Park District Board of Park Commissioners will be holding their monthly meeting for June at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 16.

BOARD OF ELECTIONS —The Crawford County Board of Elections will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016, to conduct regular business. The meeting will be held in the Board Office at 112 E. Mansfield Street, Bucyrus.
MEDICARE WORKSHOP — This event will be presented from 10 to 11 a.m. on the third Thursday of every month at the Crestline Public Library. On June 16, Eric Parr of Parr Insurance, will answer questions and educate patrons on the making the right choices concerning Medicare. This free program is educational only and nothing will be sold.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND AIRPORT COMMITTEE —The committee will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at 301 Harding Way East, Galion.

INVASIVE SPECIES — Join volunteers from the Crawford Park District and members of the Ohio Natural Areas and Preserves Association at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Daughmer Savannah, 786 Marion-Melmore Road, in trying to eradicate an invasive species.
Invasive species out-compete our local flora and fauna and can turn habitats into botanical monocultures. Wear long pants and bring gloves and a shovel. WELLNESS FAIR— Sponsored by Rite Aid, the Wellness Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on June 25.
BOATING SAFETY/BEGINNER CANOEING —A canoeing class for beginners will be held at 10 a.m. on June 25 at the Bucyrus Neff Reservoir on Ohio 98.
Canoeing is a great way to get out and enjoy nature. And, as always, when on the water, safety is first and foremost. This program offered by the Crawford Park District, will begin with a boating safety lesson, followed by a canoe float around the Bucyrus Neff Reservoir on State Route 98.
Canoes will be provided. Pre-registration is required by June 24 (419-683-9000). Funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Watercraft.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH DINNER —St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St., Galion, will hold a Community Outreach Dinner from 4:40 to 5:30 p.m. on June 29. Dinners are always the last Wednesday of the month. Donations are accepted. Carry outs are available but there is no home delivery.
POND CLINIC — The Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a pond clinic from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on June 29. It will be at the Mike and Andrea Stump pond at 2805 Shearer Road, Bucyrus.
The Galion Public Library will host an Adult Coffee and Coloring Night at The Candi Bar (125 Harding Way E.) from 5 to 7 p.m.
Adult coloring pages and colored pencils will be provided. Patrons can feel free to bring their own coloring books and supplies, as well. Refreshments will be provided. Drinks will be available for purchase from the café.

CLAS REUNION — The 35th reunion for the Galion Class of 1981 will be held on July 15 and 16. From 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday will be a meet and greet at The Gill House. From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday will be bowling at Suburban Lanes in Bucyrus and a dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Ontario Event Center with registration beginning at 5 p.m. and a class photo will be taken at 6 p.m.
